Some coaches change pitchers just bc they don't know what else to do when things are going poorly. Volantis has been in a groove and could probably get you 2-3 more outs but the defense has let them down. It'll be interesting to see what Schloss does here

Oklahoma vs UGA is gonna be awesome. Both teams on fire. I didn't think UGA was gonna win it bc I didn't think they'd have the pitching to go through the losers bracket after getting matched up with Volantis in G1 but they got past him easily. They're the clear front runner now and I don't see a legitimate challenger unless UNC can get to the final without using Decaro again

Not sure how I feel about Wes leaving Volchko in this long. I get that you want to save your bullpen but he needs to come back and pitch at least one more time and he's now at a career high # of pitches after setting his previous career high last week.

He's a college pitcher that always pitches on 7 days rest. No chance he was or is going to come back before the championship series. Wednesday would be 4 days rest and would push him to game 3 of the championship series on another 4 days rest. No chance that would ever happen. He's the game 1 starter next Saturday unless the are in the losers bracket and have to have a couple of innings to save their season. Vigue/Brown/Scott are going to have to pitch game 3.

Teams tend to bring their ace back on Thursday if they are in the if necessary game

Should be a great game. Was Georgia better than Georgia Tech this season?

From the first round, Troy seems to be the most competitive. Some big win spreads.
