With this stupid arse “heat dome” over the Southeast I figured this would be great time to reflect on the coldest game you’ve attended.

Being an LSU fan I haven’t been to many really cold games but Ole Miss 2019 at Oxford was cold as hell, I couldn’t feel my feet when I was walking out the stadium.

Coldest game at LSU was an LSU baseball game. Took a sleeping bag with me and watched from inside that sleeping bag. Was in the 30s and late Jan or early Feb - can’t remember how early they used to start.

Coldest football game (most miserable at least) was LSU-Tulane in probably 1981. Raining and cold late November.

2014 winter classic. Michigan stadium. Was in the single digits and I think negatives with wind chill. Pounding snow.

ETA: they had the damn bottled water in heaters instead of coolers and they froze once they were back at your seat. Brutal.

The 2008 LSU Troy game may not be the coldest temperature wise but I froze my dick off watching LSU make a massive comeback

The LSU game at Arkansas in 2014 was cold as shite also

Played in a high school game that kicked off at 14 degrees. Wind chill was below 0.

Falcons-Cowboys playoff game in Atlanta back in the Leeman Bennett days, can’t remember the year but Drew Pearson caught a late TD pass for the win.

Can’t remember what year it was but watched a CMU game in the snow, I believe it was Kelly’s first year there. CMU won and me and my friends stormed the field after. My parents were pissed af that we had to ride in the car afterwards just dripping in snow melt.

Also saw Penn state at Michigan state a few years ago in the snow. Penn state was wearing their whites and it was legit hard to see them lol idk how MSU won that frickin game.

The game time temp wasn’t too bad but the game against Notre Dame in South Bend in 1985 (I think) was pretty miserable. It snowed the day before the game and they were kind enough to sweep the snow off the bleachers but it remained on the ground. The whole game your feet were basically on top of blocks of ice. I had boots and good socks but couldn’t feel my feet by the end of the game. I remember ND fans throwing snowballs at the field when LSU kicked the winning field goal.

I’ve been to a couple of Independence Bowls that were cold and miserable but I was always too drunk to notice.

I haven’t been to a lot of games outside of The Dome, but LSU @ UNO baseball in ‘09 was the coldest. Cold with wind coming off the lake. For football it would be the first Tulane-UCF game last year in Yulman.
Wasn’t all that cold, but wind and little to no sun.
