I want you to tell me exactly what this blueprint is. What base defense, coverages, and how do you need to bring pressure?

So much of sports fandom is generic buzzwords.

I’ve watched Lamar Jackson take away his ability to run make him pass he’ll make some throws but will not win that way. I also know it’s almost impossible to take away his ability to run

At what point is enough enough, he's already been offered generational money. Everyone knows the Watson deal was stupid, no team will ever do that again.

$135 million guaranteed seemed fine for Lamar who is clearly in decline.
If Lamar gets the deal he wants, his team will be crippled forever. He already doesn't have much offensive support that won't magically improve when he is 30% of the cap.

I hope the Falcons end up with him and it wrecks their team for a decade for exchange of a few highlight reel moments.

Anyone even bringing up the LSU game re Lamar Jackson is a fricking idiot, completely irrelevant to discussions at hand.

There isn’t. Our DLine talent and LB speed vs Louisville is the reason we stopped him. No secret game plan we just outmatched every other position on the field.

When the owners start giving away "excess" profit because it becomes just too much, that is when you can say enough will be enough for the players too.

Plenty of other teams figure out how to be good with QBs similar to Lamar, that's not his problem. Get your money and let the team figure that part out.

I don't think this would work in regards to NFL rules.

133 mil guaranteed is enough to set up generational wealth and more if invested correctly.

His ego and greed are being shown in the light

A stupid team like the Falcons will sign him and then market the crud out of him and go .500. Then he’ll get injured and old fast and then that team will reach for a QB in the draft and go sub .500 for a few seasons and then sign another high priced QB to get back to .500 for a few seasons while marketing him and then he’ll get old and they’ll reach for another QB in the draft, etc, etc.

This is the cycle the lower 3rd of teams are continually in. The Falcons, the Redskins, the Browns, etc. Then you have the teams that just want to believe in their guy so bad they just waste season after season - the Cowboys, the Cardinals, the Giants, etc. Then you have the teams that actually hit on a QB in the draft but are so inept everywhere else that they piss around year after year.

L Oh fricking el. What a decade ago? Not saying he should get paid, but the quoted statement has no bearing on his current status.

Hey, I mean Bama gave the blueprint on how to shut Burrow down in 2018… until 2019 happened.
