It is a fact that you are wrong if you think that if Les Miles inherited the same LSU or Notre Dame football programs that Brian Kelly inherited, he would’ve had more or even the same amount of success.

Les Miles was a leader of men and a championship caliber coach who knew that elite defense could trump all else. He put inexcusable offenses out there though and squandered some good opportunities as a result.

Brian Kelly is a soft guy who looks like he should be an accountant. He had the easiest road he could ever get at Notre Dame and never did anything with it. I’m still wondering why LSU threw him that bag.

So you're saying we're gonna win a natty and play for a second and win at a 77% clip?

Les Miles won a national championship and played in another. Don’t insult Les Miles.

Brian Kelly lost 3 college football games with Jayden Daniels, Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr as offensive starters.

Take away the natty and they are one

Les has 3 sec conference titles. Brian Kelly has 0. He's well below Leslie.

Les played for 2 titles and won 1, BK played for 1 title and won zero. Don't bash Les miles like that it's uncalled for

LSU needs a great QB coach that they were rumored to be getting last time around. I’ve got just the guy for them! Can probably get the buyout waved also and save some coin!

Miles actually won something, could complete/beat top teams, and up until the Mulligan bowl that ultimately altered college football forever, he had LSU in a GOAT season in 2011.

BK will never dream of coming close to the seasons Miles put together.

So, no.

BK is a perpetual loser that has never won anything and never will.

Less won a natty
Less didn't have the program so fragmented until his last w seasons.
Less did keep the program in gear that Saban built

Hey, I don’t like it but it’s listed as an ‘achievement’. If that is the most damning thing you got out of that post, I don’t know what to tell you.

I think this may be the biggest difference. While Miles would absolutely drive you crazy punching down to lesser opponents and letting them hang around, dude absolutely made big games matter. You always knew (minus 1-9 and his last season and a half) that LSU was gonna play hard and have a chance against anyone.

Kinda knew before kickoff LSU was gonna lose to both Ole Miss and Vandy this season which is inexcusable.
