The hypocrisy is that you guys keep pointing this at the group who ended up being upset with him for compromising himself and just ignore the group who was mad at him and forced him to do it in the first place.

I’ve also moved on from that. As it concerns Brees, that was like one negative grain of sand on a beach with nothing else but positive grains of sand.

I’ve never ignored that group, in fact I boycotted the Saints 2020 regular season and only watched the playoffs because it was going to be the last chance to watch Brees. I didn’t watch a Saints game for years after that.
I also place the blame on 2020/21 LSU on those same people and not Coach O because they quit on the team.

As a Falcons fan who grew up hating Brees, I have nothing but respect for him.
And if any Saints fan has anything but great memories of him, you should probably take a look back at the history of the franchise with Brees and the history of the Saints franchise without Brees.

Brees said he could never agree with someone disrespecting the American flag or country. Then he went on a complete 180, bitch fest apology tour to appease his black teammates. He did this because he wanted the chance to win more football games.
He then went on to wear a rapist name on his helmet, again to appease his black teammates. Again, so he could win more football games.
I'm not sure how anyone can have any respect for a person completely shitting all over their own personal beliefs just to win football games.

Drew Brees is a coward and showed it when it mattered most. His speech was a scripted turd. I’m appreciative of the title run, but he’s a corporate puppet. Nothing genuine about that speech. In fact, I thought the fricking kicker out did him.
Drew is no different then every Karen or weak individual you came across during Covid. When it mattered most, he failed miserably.
