I forget what he did to bend a knee to the loons, but he just gave one of the great all-time Hall of Fame speeches.

it's funny how after everything Brees did for Louisiana people still vilify him for not agreeing with them on social issues. grown men turn into women so easily over things that don't affect them these days

I actually don’t think he even disagreed with us in social issues. He just did what he thought he had to do.

All I know is he just gave the speech I wish Kurt Warner would have given.
And by that I mean a love letter to St. Louis,it's fans and the people who got him there. Instead he talked about his stocking shelves story and skimmed over way too many teammates and those who elevated him to the Hall of Fame.
Brees just gave New Orleans the best French kiss in history and he meant it.. He made you beyond proud.

I blame Brees’ management and the Saints organization more than I do Brees.
His management because they let Brees walk into that trap of an interview when some basic searching would have revealed the interviewer to be a left winger and the Saints organization for backing Michael Thomas instead of Brees after everything Brees had done for the Saints.
