These commentators acting like it’s no big deal is ridiculous. This is crazy.

I’ve been to 7 or 8 LSU @ Auburn games over the years. Still my favorite road trip win or lose.

Pretty campus, good fans, and nice clean college town.

Atlanta is not a huge travel/vacation destination city for most on this board I’d suspect. But neither is Houston, Dallas, or other major cities.

What Atlanta has though, is 18 Fortune 500 companies, I think around 35 fortune 1000 which brings tons of jobs, especially when you factor all the businesses that directly service / support these companies. It’s also the southeast tech hub for pretty much every major tech company.

That brings tons of young people and opportunity. It also brings lots of out of state folks, so you feel like it’s a bit of a melting pot as a young individual. I spent 12 years, met my wife before moving to Florida during Covid. I’d highly recommend Atl to any young individuals as a great place to start a career and network.

Drew Brees is a coward and showed it when it mattered most. His speech was a scripted turd. I’m appreciative of the title run, but he’s a corporate puppet. Nothing genuine about that speech. In fact, I thought the fricking kicker out did him.

Drew is no different then every Karen or weak individual you came across during Covid. When it mattered most, he failed miserably.

I can’t recall a time where we’ve had this many players all in the majors at the same time. Actually gives me a reason to check box scores every day.

Bregs with a great career

Tre Morgan killing it for Durham since his return from injury. I’m really curious to see how he ends up. I know the Rays seem to be set at first, but I have to believe other teams would have interest if the Rays don’t bring him up.

Hopefully Nola and Gausman can get back to form. I know Gausman isn’t having a great year but have seen his name mentioned several times as a potential trade target for a contender.

Josh Smith and Jake Fraley still sticking around.

I’m sure I’m missing someone, but just exciting to see this many former players having success.

If you are looking for a glass half full scenario, up until a week and half ago, he had spent the last month raising his average from .188 to .240, but that has dipped in his last 5-6 games.

Some good news is he drew 1 walk in August, 3 in June, and has 6 half way through July. Perhaps he’s getting a little more patient.

I’m curious to see how he finishes this back half of the season and rooting for him.

And back to this thread, Tommy has been mashing in AA and AAA , so hoping he continues with the call up. He had an amazing spring training, so great to see him continuing to progress.
