Yep. I was thinking about going but when I saw the prices I immediately drove that thought out of my mind. Good riddance.
When the All Star game was at Turner Field in 2000 or so, I was able to get upper deck tickets for the Sunday futures game and Monday home run Derby for I think $75 each day (lowers were either $100 or $125), and a lower level ticket for the game itself for $150 (uppers were $100).

When the game was in Miami a few years ago, a friend from down there said the cheapest price to get in for all 3 days was $800 or so.

Serious question. Do people voting expect food and water?

Why do you support anti-democratic measures?

Like state legislatures nullifying the certification of elections by local officials if they don’t like the result?

This is what you get when you make politics into a sport.

People will, of course, accuse you of being "stupid" for this attitude.

While simultaneously throwing their time and money at the wokesters that are bound and determined in their continued efforts to ruin the sports that they purportedly love.

No, like providing safeguards against things like unverifiable ballot harvesting.

Do you think a political party should be able to hire one person to shove 5,000 unrequested and unverified absentee ballots in unsecure ballot box at 8:00 pm on election night?

Because that’s what they were able to do GA and other states in 2020.

Under no circumstances should unrequested absentee ballots be ever allowed to be distributed again.

My understanding from reading the conversations surrounding this is that the main problem people against the bill have is the bill’s restriction of providing food or water to voters waiting in lines

I have legitimately never seen anyone giving out food and water to people in line to vote. I can also assume that no one does this out of the goodness of their hearts. They are absolutely trying to influence voters by giving away food and water.

In all seriousness does anyone want someone who doesnt know how to obtain an ID choosing the leader of the free world?

I feel like that is about the lowest level of competence to ask

I assume you don’t live in a metropolitan area. In New Orleans, busses are hired to pick people up and drive them to polling stations and hand them line voting cards.

Yep. Been voting for over 40 years now and not a single time has this ever been a thing I've observed at any polling place.

Yep. His only answer will start with...”well, what about...” Then he will shift the argument to bitch about something else.
