Harden actually is one of the best post defending guards in the NBA. His weakness as a defender is lateral quickness, which is not nearly as problematic in the post.

MCW is a garbage player. But he played well in preseason so hope springs eternal. He is bad though.

None of this "uhhh, it was a bad night for teh Rockets" bad.
No, it was borderline un-fixable bad. Like in CFB, you are firing the DC the next morning. Even in terms of BIG12 football...........that defense was complete arse.
AD, Mirotic, and Elfrid did whatever the frick they wanted last night and the Rockets had 0 answer. Elfrid, Elfrid Payton, Elfrid motherfricking Payton. You know the kid from ULL, then the Magic, who can't shoot to save his life..... Elfrid Payton, had his way with the Rockets defense en route to a triple double.
the Rockets didn't have a single player other than Ennis remotely close to an even +/-
if that Rox team shows up to play Golden State, the Warriors are gonna drop 200 on them.

Anyone who puts that much stock In one game clearly don’t know their nba. when CC is playing GOAT in game 7 WCF no one will care about this game, so we don’t care about it the day after. Being big picture is not good for message board fodder but it’s how I have always been.
