Melo always was/is going to have a hard time adjusting to going from alpha star to role player. He never had a serious injury earlier in his career to humble him and slow things down, combined with so many doldrums years in NY plus little nagging injuries that stacked up and have manifested the last couple years. He doesn’t have that burst he had in his Denver years and can’t overpower many guys. He has to lean on his jumper now more than ever. If he’s open to this role and stays healthy maybe he can be a middle class man’s late 2000s Michael Finley for them.

Rizla had nowhere to go but up after missing like 80 straight in game 7.

You know I am big picture so one game means nothing either way. Good win for pelts. Cc have nothing to worry about of course. #sleepwalkto60

Melo is too much of a cancer right now in his career and he is going to drag Houston down as long as he is on the team. The Pels front court is completely stacked and they showed much better defense than last year all while AD looks to be on a fricking mission.

I mean they are clutch. They won the only two titles they could have ever won in their franchise, they just had to wait for the GOAT to try his hand at baseball for a year and a half.

Maybe at some point they'll make Boom truly happy and move back to San Diego

Unlike a lot of the guys here, I love your (oft misguided) enthusiasm for your team. You and Prime have an unwavering commitment to making the Rocks looks as good as possible.

Last night was a great game for my Pels, and I think a little coming out party for the team on a national stage. I think even you were a little surprised at the result of the game if you are honest and realistic. Not so much that your team lost, but in the manner they lost.

You keep being you. Game on.

Whoa whoa whoa. Boom is not a Rockets fan, he's an NBA fan, don't let all his Rockets-centric posts fool you

Not surprised. I don’t put no stock in one game. CC whooped warriors last year in game 1. It was nbd. Just one of 82. I am big picture.
