my guess is a while back when the NFL and CFB lightened up on their mega hardass celebration rules and started letting people do what they want. When that happened you then had high schoolers wanting to copy and do whatever they saw on TV. in turn the younger generation of elementary/middle schools who watched football all weekend saw all that and wanted to emulate it as well. Nowadays we have a full "generation" of kids that have grown up since childhood wathcing people celebrate on TV, not to mention all the retarded shite they see on tiktok and whatever else. Now you've got kids as young as like 6U sports celebrating wild as hell becuase that's what they know.
