I’m just trying to figure out why this is a bad thing. A borderline Blue Blood got outgunned by an FCS HBCU. We should be applauding Deion on this one

Your ignorance here is phenomenal.

You realize this is about a guy leaving FSU (a blue blood) to go to Jacksonville St right?

Its basically the poor stealing from the rich, to use your terminology.

You aren’t thinking this through. All of that blue blood shite can go out the window. The richest of the rich means whoever can pony up the most money. We could have billionaires turning the likes of JSU into national champions in two years if they felt like it.

This is pretty huge. Deion said one of the reasons he took that job is he wanted to change the dynamics of CFB and he wanted to see HBCUs become relevant again.

I'd say he's definitely putting his money where his mouth is.

You know how people here tend to act when it comes to HBCUs and off the field success that may negatively impact their favorite school. The coded language is already out there on the recruiting board.

While it would be on brand for barstool to cause chaos, this is actually an excellent business move for them. If it’s true that he’ll be part of a documentary done through their company, his name alone will draw more online views. Also, if he ends up being the baller everyone expects him to be, they’ve cultivated an early relationship with a likely future nfl star. This could be a long term move for them to be associated with a future pro bowler.

You’d have to be even dumber than everyone already thought if you truly thought people’s objection to this involves race.

Ugh, does this mean in the future we might have to see some of the other 120 CFB teams compete for titles?!

This is a great move by barstool. They did a hard knocks type show last season following Prime/Jackson. This should really legitimize season 2

This is the point. I understand people that hate FSU laughing it up, I would too if it was somebody else, but this is bad for everybody. If this is just the start then even Bama and UGA can't compete with multimillion dollar companies paying players to go to the school they want.

Remember in the Broncos 2nd Super Bowl year the Strength Coach had EAS contract and the players started to get paid for wearing EAS items during interviews and pregames and the NFL said no they are not a official vendor.

I have a feeling that they (NCAA or schools) are going to start making people with NIL opportunities sign to be official and if the player is at game site wearing non approved stuff they will get fined.

Cam and UA clips example is best I can use to illustrate this. Cam absolutely should have been fined as well for it.

most of this shite could have been avoided had the NCAA just bent on anything and gave the players something...now the whole thing may topple in a few years.
