It isn't shocking that Travis Hunter would consider flipping. Is it really a step down going from FSU to JSU? I see three main differences between the two: One team has a winning record, is going bowling, and didn't lose to an FCS school, while the other is Florida State

That's rich coming from a program who just last month was partying in the locker room after giving up 52 points to a bad Samford team.

I get that Deion works for Barstool but what is Barstool's angle in this? Did they confirm they are doing an NIL deal with this kid?

The SWAC bout to be back to putting out studs once again. This is the tipping point. More kids will follow suit.

That doesn't matter. We could go 1-11, beat FSU and still brag.

That's how rivalries work.

This feels like the tipping point. Up until now, schools were being cautious with the new rules to make sure they didn’t accidentally do anything that got them ibto trouble. If the NCAA allows this, the floodgates have opened.

I think it's a beautiful troll of the system. The occasional rich donor at a smaller school or company like Barstool may not be able to stock an entire roster with elite talent, but could pull a few studs to a lesser tier school. So, maybe the rich don't always get richer.

the gates are opened

I do wonder how long some of this lasts, its kind of the wild west right now with dumb money being thrown around....but one would think eventually it slows a bit once these guys stop seeing any kind of true ROI on buying these players

It will not last, one way or the other. It cannot.

First of all, the NCAA or P5 schools will do something about the open season on Free Agency/Transfer Portal and find some in between point between what it was and what it is now.

Second, either companies will start to be much more reasonable and selective with NIL money because they aren't getting any return on the investment, or artificial limitations will be put in place (including needing to commit to a school for 3 years if you receive money).

I don't think I'm the only one that realizes what's happened at HBCU is directly tied to NIL

This is the biggest story in CFB in three decades.

True or False?

This will either reel in NIL or flood gates are open and the dynamic of CFB is going to change forever

This is a troll. And they don't mind doing that. The novelty aspect is also nice.

But let's not pretend that this will be the norm. In the end, people don't like losing money. And the market will eventually dictate all this stuff.

Is Deoin still afiliated w/ Barstool? How it that legal? I get its the wild west RN but that seems egregious.
