Sale is about as good as I’ve seen this year.

Longest outing of Randy Vasquez's career

This offense is every pitcher's "get right" game.

We made Matt Waldron look like an ace.

I swear to god if the bullpen blows a 7 IP scoreless outing from Sale after wasting Lopez' outing earlier today...

As a pessimist The thing that sucks about Sale being so dominant is that I’m just waiting on him to get injured

Shoutout Machado for bailing Iglesias out in that AB

Well felt like it should have been a 2-0 day but good job bouncing back immediately and getting a win.

Having Chris Sale go helps.

In addition to the performance, Sale appears to be an amazing teammate.

His press conferences have been unbelievable.

Admittedly all I thought about when we got him was he was the dick that cut up the jersey he didn’t like.

Fricking five stars for that guy so far.

His White Sox teammates LOVED him for that. None of them wanted to wear that ugly shite

like CJ, but I don't need an advanced stats class during a baseball broadcast. I'd rather read about that stuff.

He doesn't. Stop. Talking.

He rambled this evening during an AB about Sale throwing sliders 40% for over 45 seconds. While it's cool to know stuff like that, you absolutely lose the viewer throwing out so many numbers and names in that time. It's not good for a broadcast.

And I say that as someone who at least appreciates the preparation he does before games but it's exhausting at times

Ray Kerr sent back down to AAA… apparently we’re going to stretch him out to be a 5th starter.

Not sure about that one

Don't hate it. He has started before and he threw 64 pitches on Sunday. Shouldn't take too long to get him stretched out to 80-85 pitches. His stuff is way better than Elder's.

If it doesn't work, we know he's good out of the pen.

Top 5 for NL MVP right now per MLB.com

1. Betts
2. Ohtani
3. Wild Bill Contreras
4. Elly De La Cruz
5. Ozuna

Yeah, that trade already looks like a complete loss. His talent was always really obvious. I'm still kind of baffled as to why AA gave up on him.

I guess defense concerns? I tried to logic my way through that one and even at the time I didn't really agree with it since we had TDA already as well.

I don’t follow the defensive metrics, but this has Orlando at #2. Is that ranked second and is this a good metric?

Still, I'd rather have a host of others below him on that list. Can you imagine what it would be like to have Elly De La Cruz playing SS for the Braves? Holy shite that would be a lot of fun.
