Go back one year and update your post.

I did, he had a good season. He then sabotaged his Super Bowl winning coach. He basically had him fired. He's a me guy. he's had one good season and one bad.
You think he's who he was in 2012. I on the other hand don't. I don't think he's as bad as he played last season, but he can't stay healthy. And he plays for a terrible owner and poorly led organization.

So a guy who has been in the NFL for two years, who played great his first year (QBR was just below Peyton Manning and ahead of Tom Brady and Drew Brees) and got injured, then was injured his second year and put up a QBR of 82.6 (better than Joe Flacco, Eli Manning and Ryan Tannehill) and going into his third season with a new coach is not being considered a bust?

People need to stop being so damn quick to jump to conclusions and let things play out.

I never said I liked the guy. Quite the opposite actually. Check my posts in this thread.

one more thing about RG3 that i never hear mentioned is this: the dude had Josh Gordon and Kendall Wright to throw to in college. both of them made shitty NFL QBs look pretty decent in a lot of games last year.

Terrence Williams of the Cowboys as well. Also, Tevin Reese who was just drafted by the Chargers.

and the other one (last one) was a complete travesty. What makes his first season more impactful than his second one for his entire career?

It certainly wasn't good but to call it a complete travesty is a little overboard.

3200 yards passing, 16 TDs/12 INTs. 500 rushing yards. Once again, not good but the NFL has seen much worse.

He ranked 29th in the NFL with a QBR of 40.1
Slightly ahead of Jason Campbell at 38.6.
And behind a QB like Mike Glennon of Tampa Bay (who also sucks)at 45.6
Like I said he sucks.

Take a look at his Rookie Year numbers....

No he didn't, his numbers were crappy. RG III's were very good.

He carried the team on his back to the playoffs his first season.

Bust is a mite hasty, I'd say.

But RG III was actually good when he won, as opposed to only getting the award just because his team won games.

Not sure Josh Gordon is the best example.

In any case, it's pretty impressive to see that the 2010 Baylor receiving corps featured Josh Gordon, Kendall Wright, and Terrance Williams.

I would take this from a second year QB coming off knee surgery.

he's going to get hurt again. He isn't smart enough or good enough to keep it from happening.

Bump. In no way am I happy that RG3 is injured. I hate to see an injury for any player on any team, college or pro. But I took a lot of shite for calling him a bust cause he is injury prone, so I felt this was needed.
