Impossibru. He'll be injured for half the season more than likely.

The skins will be terrible this year, but I'm sure they will put up some points. It is their defense and OL that really, really suck.

the best part about this is that Snyder has invested so much in him (draft picks, money, marketing, his most recent coaching hire, etc.)

that even if it does become clear that he's a bust, we'll get to watch the skins ride it out with him regardless...unless he is "injured" to save himself from the embarrassment.

He was hurt last year.

His rookie year he was a fringe MVP candidate.

Doubt RGIII at your own peril- he came back too early last year and wasn't ready.

The levels of retardation this forum gets sometimes...jesus.

He had a GREAT rookie year. He got hurt. He had a down 2nd year.

How about we see what happens this year?

He plays for the Washington Redskins. I say we wait at least for 100 years.

I thought he was pretty good his first year

And he was hurt most of last year.

So I guess if he sucks this year, people can start labeling whatever they want

I don't think we can make a judgment yet, but what I can't wait for it when he goes over Gruden's head to Snyder and undermines the new coach's authority. Will be fun.

Definitely as a runner. He is elite in that regard. I'm not convinced as a passer yet though. He threw a TON of screens, slants, quick outs, etc., his rookie year. Like an excessive amount. He had to make very few reads.

Still, that isn't to say he couldn't get there. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. He definitely has the weapons he needs this season... We'll see.

Irrelevant post, for all you know I could agree that the Saints do that often and Brees is a below average passer.

he had a great rookie year as a passer, and I remember that thanksgiving game against dallas...there was a wow factor. But I think so many of these guys who burst onto the scene, lose their edge or their drive once they feel they've made it. If he regresses that much as a passer just from losing the threat of the run, then he was getting by purely on talent...that won't last long for him. Mobility is kind of a curse for qbs...the ones with it seem to rely too much on it instead of making it just another facet of their skill set.
