Damn, I had no clue opinions could differ. Learn something new every day.

I just wanted you to expound on your statement that he sucked, because he clearly doesn't suck.

Because not all opinions are created equal.

So what makes mine unequal? I think a QB is a bust because he is injury prone and was benched and replaced and all of the sudden I'm speaking crazy talk

Because the dude has played two seasons in the NFL, one of which was fantastic. You figure it out.

and the other one (last one) was a complete travesty. What makes his first season more impactful than his second one for his entire career?

He ranked 29th in the NFL with a QBR of 40.1
Slightly ahead of Jason Campbell at 38.6.
And behind a QB like Mike Glennon of Tampa Bay (who also sucks)at 45.6
Like I said he sucks.

no, I think after 2 seasons you can have an opinion on what kind of player rg3 is...I can see people coming to a wide variety of conclusions...however, what is a bust?

Is mike vick a bust...maybe? but I don't think so. A massive disappointment? yup

leaf, jawalrus, Robert gallery, etc. are busts (even though gallery somehow had a job in the nfl for a long fricking time...probably still does)

I will say that RG3's 2013 campaign shouldn't leave NFL fans with high expectations...he's headed DOOOOWWWWN...there isn't really any agreement as to whether or not he was actually injured. A high profile surgeon went on at length that he was good to go, then backtracked...so did his coach, it was a weird 3 way triangle of 3 men (shanny, Andrews, rg3) saying anything at any given time. The only thing they did consistently was contradict one another

Way too early to label him a bust, or even mediocre, but not too early to speculate.

What?

You're calling a dude a bust because he had one bad season. If you can't see why that's ridiculous, we're wasting our time.

Go back one year and update your post.

ETA: You do realize the ESPN QBRs are complete horseshite, right?

Irrelevant post, for all you know I could agree that the Saints do that often and Brees is a below average passer.

Yea....you could believe that. But it would make you a moron so think that stance over before you dive all the way in.

The Redskins will rue the day they traded the farm for Griffin. The Rams are building a hell of a team with those picks..

Maybe, but that doesn't make RGIII a bust, the only way I see RGIII not having a successful NFL career is if he can't stay healthy

It's a two way straight boom. You are calling him successful just because he had one good season.

mmmm, that's not what I'm getting. I'm getting that regardless of what his two seasons were like, it is way too early to say definitively.

Never once called him successful. I said he had a fantastic season, which is indisputable. You're making a definitive statement about his career as a QB based on two seasons, one of which was great. That's what I take issue with.
