Thanks for making that so easy. I love putting posters in their place.

I'm a fan of RG3 as a person. I just knew he would never make it in the NFL due to the probability of him being hurt. Boom for example called my opinions stupid and unequal to his.

You called him a bust after two seasons. That is stupid. You don't label a player a bust after two seasons, one of which was great. I've said that from the very beginning. If you think he WILL be a bust because he's a smaller running QB that will be consistently injured, that's a different discussion. However, that is not the discussion you were looking to have.

You act like you nailed the lotto by declaring a player injury-prone after already sustaining a season-ending injury.

It's not that hard to predict after the guy had 2 ACL injuries within 1 year. I guess you just chose to be oblivious to that fact.

I think everyone is missing the broader question -- was RGIII a system quarterback?

It's a fair question given that Nick Florence broke Griffin's single season passing record the very next year, and then Bryce Petty led them to a Big 12 Championship the year after that and a BCS Bowl (4200 yards, 33 passing TDs, 14 rushing TDs), neither of which RGIII ever did.

That goes for both college and NFL stints, too. Both Shanahan and Briles have had success with multiple quarterbacks. Briles has had success with Kolb, Griffin, Florence and Petty. Shanahan made it the playoffs with Elway (already a GOAT), Brian Griese, and Jake Plummer before Griffin.

So you agreed with me...why are you taking so much issue? Yes, I called him a bust after two seasons. I believed he would be a bust due to his potential injuries. It was an educated guess and I was right.

It looks like he lost his confidence when he lost his ability to run. Do I think he can turn it around? Yes. Would I want him as the QB for my team? Hell no.

We're going in circles.

I'm still not willing to call him a bust and I still think you're jumping the gun by calling him a bust this early in his career. He's 24. He can turn it around.

Injuries aside, the Redskins seem to be a better team when Cousins plays. As such, injuries may actually save him from being labeled a bust.

I think RGIII gets hated on way more than he deserves. He had a great rookie campaign and led the team to the playoffs. Only true problem he's had are injuries. I certainly wouldn't label him as a "bust" based on his play alone. I think he's a very talented young QB who has just been cursed by injuries so far. It happens.
