Do the Astros make a stop in Cincinnati on the way back to Htown?

Nope. I think they are going to San Francisco, per orders from 5Deep's grandma.

Well that was before game 2 loss so I’m thinkin SF is off the table. Sources tell me they ain’t frickin around and will be taking a direct flight back to Houston on Air Force One

I’ve been wondering why we haven’t worn orange once this postseason. Especially after it seemed like that’s what we wore as our road jersey 80% of the time in 2017

Easy now. Time for someone to be the negative nancy...

JV is 0-5 in his career in the WS. Strasburg is a damn good pitcher. Lord knows what the deal is with a potential Scherzer in game 7. We’ve seen first hand how quick a teams offense can go from ice cold to hot. This thing is far from locked up

I think theres no chance Scherzer pitches again.

He said himself hes had this injury before and he was out 10 days and this time its worse than the first time.

Davey Martinez made the tough but right decision and threw the towel on this game. He saw where the momentum was and knew with the day off things were gonna reset. He couldn’t take the heat in the kitchen so Scherzer took it for him. Now he has his pitching lined up for game 6 and 7.

Has there ever been a World Series that went 7 where the road team has won every one?

Over the last three games, the Astros have outscored the Nats 19-3.

The Astros run differential in this series is now +6.

It's extremely impressive and admirable the way that this Astros team bounced back to win 3 straight on the road in the WS. I am very impressed and humbled. I thought that 2 out of 3 was feasible, but, not 3 straight.

I tip my cap. I have said all that there is to say.

This will mark the first time that Houston has hosted a World Series Game 6.

TWO IN THREE YEARS: Granted, the Astros wouldn’t be the only team, even in this decade, to win two World Series in three years. Remember those 2010-12-14 kings of the even years, the Giants? Right. Thought so. But here’s the difference: The Giants didn’t even get back to the postseason in between those titles. So in the division-play era, now 51 seasons old, the Astros are the ninth team to win a World Series one year, then lose the next year in either the LCS or World Series. Want to guess how many of those teams came back the following season to win it all again? That would be none.
