It’s so easy every RB runs for 2k yards and 20+ TDs!

played against Oregon in the regular season and torched them. Also Walter Peyton, Chris Johnson, la Damian Tomlinson, Marshall Faulk, etc. so congrats you went full fricking retard going 0 for 3 on all of your dumbass hot takes.

Why give teams more questions by refusing to run?

The bigger issue if I were a GM is the foie gras treatment he got all year and last year. 27 carries / game is an absolute frick load for a college RB these days (and 18 carries / game before that). That's a hell of a lot of tread on the tires, even for a kid who seems like he's sturdy as hell.

In Jeanty's defense (and I agree he qualitatively looked positively pedestrian in the CFP - he had 30 fricking carries in that game; he should have gotten 100+), PSU's DL was borderline - if not outright - NFL good. I didn't appreciate how good they were until we played them.

Still, I wouldn't take Jeanty in the top 15. I don't think he was even the best RB in the country last year.

I have read that some scouts have Hampton above Jeanty.

Raiders taking a RB at 6 coming off a 4 win season with one of the most talented depleted rosters in the league would be very on brand

Retired players with 10,000+ rushing yards:
Walter Payton went to Jackson State.
LaDanian Tomlinson went to TCU:
Marshall Faulk went to San Diego State.

Active players with 4,000+ rushing yards:
Aaron Jones went to UTEP.
Latavius Murray went to UCF.
Kareem Hunt went to Toledo.
Austin Ekeler went to Western State (wherever that is).
Tony Pollard went to Memphis.
Devin Singletary went to FAU.

Yes Jeanty had 100 yards against PSU, but, looking at the play by play, he had 5 total carries where he gained more than 5 yards. He got 26 on a 3rd and 20 draw deep in Boise territory, but, other than that, 90%of his carries put Boise in long yardage situations behind the sticks.

His lack of production had more to do with PSU have 2-3 hats on him every play. He’s a load to bring down and can see how he was a terror against less physical teams.

Plenty of reasons not too. Could have a slow start or stumble. Thank god you aren’t the GM of my favorite team.

He’s not as fast as you think

Also his card is breaking tackles

I don’t think he’s the talent everyone is making him out to be

Is that an exhaustive list? Because there are 31 retired players with 10,000+ yards. So 10%.

You left off Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson.

It will be interesting to see where he falls.

I know a lot of sources have him in the top ten prospects but is RB really warranting of a first round pick nowadays?
