Yeah, absolutely terrible. He should drop to the Broncos.

100% chance Sean has jerked it to his film.

I am not saying he couldn't be very good, but if this discussion is about draft position, and this is a red flag.

He might be solidified where he gets picked, but this should turn teams off.

RB might be the one position where this is not only false, but might actually be the other way around.

Over the last 20 years, there's been 3 out of 20 RBs that lead the NFL in rushing yards that did not play at a P5 school.

I could be wrong about this (Chat GPT since profootball reference is premium for this) but of all the 20 RBs who have had the most rushing yards in the last 20 years, only Matt Forte and Chris Johnson did not play at P5 schools.

Now some of these guys played at smaller P5 schools but still mostly played P5 competition.

Of course Jeanty might still be good but it's definitely not the opposite like you were saying. It's still almost all P5 RBs dominating the NFL because just like the other positons, they put more starting caliber players in the NFL.

Does he have high school track times?

Eta: 11.13 100m as a junior. Not a burner but fast enough. Film looks plenty fast

Isn't the technology available to watch his tape and get an actual game speed for a 40yd? To me, that's more relevant than if he's a sprinter

The 464 lb UF player ran a 5.93 40. I think that's impressive?

I still find it funny that just a year ago people were acting like RB's were not important and Saquon Barkley put that to rest real quick.

Didn't run at the combine either. Is it a red flag?

For projected 1st rounders who have had their stools examined? Probably not.

Running a 4.45 instead of a 4.43 is just fodder for fans to bitch.

Yeah I read an article that said in one season GM's around the league went from undervaluing the RB position to now making it a priority again.

Changed real quick after Barkley and Henry elevated their teams greatly.

The combine is more for people to try and prove their draft stock, hoping to get drafted higher. For the top picks, it really makes little sense for them to participate.
