I can't think of a single City Connect from last year, or this year so far, that is at the very least on par with their team's existing uniform combos.
They're ALL dogshit by comparison. Some less terrible than others....like I said....I agree the Cubs would be one of those. But they still sure as frick aren't great. Not even really good.
Our trash arse city connect logo looks like what you'd see as the generic logo on a city's downtown municipal parking garage. fricking awful.

I think the uniforms you are referring to as Cubs uniforms in this post are actually Reds uniforms. The “UK” poster posted a picture of the uniforms that belong to the Reds but posted about the Cubs uniforms. The Cubs’ City Connect uniforms are the same colors basically as their regular uniforms.

Correct. My avatar is the Reds logo, so I thought that was obvious, but then I have to remember most of us are posting on our phones. If you turn it from portrait to landscape you can see folks avatars on this site.
The Cubs City Connects in question.....which IMO aren't the absolute worst. Still not as good as the normal Cubs uniforms, so why bother at all, but not exactly an abomination compared to some (like my Reds):
