I think both Clemson and FSU end up in Big12 eventually.

If the SEC decided to raid the ACC, Florida State wouldn't be one of the top choices, UNC, UVA, VA Tech and Miami would be ahead of them.

FSU should’ve joined the SEC back in the 90’s when they had the chance.

I'm just glad that I don't care since CFB is already on its death spiral

I remember earlier this year Clemson fans were saying their ACC departure and SEC entry was "imminent."

FSU while bad this year can easily be good in 4 years from now. We don't need anymore teams like FSU now that committee showed SOS doesn't matter.

Maybe not. FSU didn’t bring much to the table for the SEC. Tallahassee isn’t that big of a media market and both Auburn and Gainesville are within 150 miles.

When it comes to college sports at flagship/statewide public universities and the Green Bay Packers, you factor in much more than the home market as their support is derived statewide.

They aren't a flagship unviersity nor have statewide support. A tiny area of the panhandle is all they have, most of the panhandle is divided up between Auburn, Bama, LSU, UWF, and UF as well.

FSU had a chance to be in the SEC but Bobby Bowden said no.

With this committee, the easier the conference the better. SMU schedule is like a cartoon.

Are they? Obviously, subjective criteria, but quickly off the top of my head:

Look at ratings and revenue.

You think FSU is the flagship school in Florida?

Is it though?

Since my move to Utah and traveling around 12 states in the mountain and mid west I have seen gator gear around and zero FSU gear.
