Most stories that are along the lines of a fan getting killed or beaten half to death by the opposition tends to happen in California, and not just limited to the NFL
if theres anything I know about sport fans, it's that Alabama is a Shangri la that is always calm, cool, and collected when it comes to the tide

How many times has it been national news about an opposing fan being beaten to death or into a coma after a Bama game?

Same question but a Dodgers or Giants game.

A woman charged with killing a fellow Alabama fan after the end of last weekend's Iron Bowl football game was angry that the victim and others didn't seem upset over the Crimson Tide's loss to archrival Auburn, said the sister of the slain woman.

The bullet narrowly missed 20-year-old Seth Logan, who said he picked the wrong time to ask his dad for a car, sheriff's spokesman Deputy Randy Christian said Monday.

Cool story bro:
I was in Stockton CA for work for 7 months in 2007. The only place to watch the saints was a cool little sports bar in a bowling alley. They showed all the NFL games every Sunday. Well, the two largest (and trashiest) groups of fans there every Sunday were Raiders fans and Dallas fans. One Sunday the Saints played on National TV so I stayed home to watch. Next Sunday I go back and the place was practically empty. I asked the bar tender where all the Raiders n Cowboys fans were. She said they got permanently banned last week for getting into a brawl and trashing the place
Cowboys really do have a national following, freaking Stockton CA smh

Side note, it's hard to be an NFL fan on the west coast. Imagine watching the Saints play every Sunday at 10 AM.

No it isn't. Game is done and you still have most of the day in front of you.
