There is a live game going on tonight. The rest of the playoffs starts tomorrow.

Yall hear about a 13u traction kid who nearly died in a tournament? I havent seen anyone post about what happened. Did he get drilled by a line drive?

i dont mean to be but man the guys my age or older that just bash the game because their ego cant handle the thought that the game is better today than ever.....it pisses me off.

barbe does not broadcast or have GC that runs live. maybe mandeville will broadcast, barbe will allow them to set up a camera behind home plate and go live

2d tournament this past weekend in BR, got hit by a line drive off the bat.
from his mom last night:
he got released yesterday as the brain bleed stabilized. will have to finish school year at home and god willing will be playing baseball again next spring. But he will have a long road to hoe, he is still getting bad bad headaches on and off. Say some prayers for the kid for sure as he could use them.

umm yea. Barbe got a terrible draw.
Mandeville has 2 guys that can throw it. could easily upset them. especially if wind is blowing in
if they get past that, they have to play sulphur or dutchtown, Sulphur, who barbe beat 3 times in regular season and every game was very close. Dutchtown would be easier draw but still not easy
then it would be hahnville or Zachary prolly. hahnville has Koa who if on it stupid and he can bang like crazy plus they have another pitcher and another big hitter. Zacahry was only like 6-4 when they played barbe in Feb and zachary had injuries at the time. I think they had a kid hit for cycle in that game too....could easily beat barbe
then if they make the finals, they have to play prolly either Sam Houston or West Monroe. WM has cupit who is best pitcher in the state prolly. complete stud. Sam houston...yea barbe beat them 3 times but they have tons and tons of talent, especially young talent and barbe never had to fce the Pat Connor kid.
so yea there are teams in every single round that could beat barbe.

watched the end of this game... 3-1 top 7, 1 out... runners on first and second... SP hit a line drive to left center two runners on very close together (lead runner on 2b held up to make sure the ball dropped, trail runner on 1b had gone more than halfway)... anyway, they rounded third, both were going to score to tie the game, trail runner tripped and fell down and had to scramble back to third... next batter hard liner to third and a good play by third baseman for the out, next batter fly to center... good game and fun to watch the ending especially when i had no true rooting interest for either team...
