on another note, found out the full class for 8th grade for next year that Catholic accepted(class of 2031) and jesus christ!!! Can Bass leave a catcher for any other schools? That class is going to be insane for them. Loyola and Barbe have amazing 2031 classes too.

if they get past that, they have to play sulphur or dutchtown, Sulphur, who barbe beat 3 times in regular season and every game was very close. Dutchtown would be easier draw but still not easy
then it would be hahnville or Zachary prolly. hahnville has Koa who if on it stupid and he can bang like crazy plus they have another pitcher and another big hitter. Zacahry was only like 6-4 when they played barbe in Feb and zachary had injuries at the time. I think they had a kid hit for cycle in that game too....could easily beat barbe
then if they make the finals, they have to play prolly either Sam Houston or West Monroe. WM has cupit who is best pitcher in the state prolly. complete stud. Sam houston...yea barbe beat them 3 times but they have tons and tons of talent, especially young talent and barbe never had to fce the Pat Connor kid.
so yea there are teams in every single round that could beat barbe.

yep, sam houston won the series 2-1. Mandeville also took 2 of 3 from Catholic but according to people here....there is no competition for barbe.
im a barbe guy, i want barbe to win, i want them to run rule everyone...but to act like its a cake walk, hell even a cake walk to the finals is crazy

Rummel was lucky that last inning didn't cause them to lose... Dumb mistakes..

Didn't St Paul's have bases loaded in the last inning? I think Nugent was down to his final batter. Hell of a damn game.

Yes… Unfortunately he waited to the last inning to struggle. He’s usually the opposite of that.

LOL, summer of 18 or 19 my son was on a Marucci HS team. Were kids from several schools on the team including TC. Playing at UHigh one weekend a TC dad shows up in a helicopter that he lands on the UHigh football field. LSUPD showed up pretty quick for him to get the chopper out of there. Co-pilot left with chopper and dad stayed and watched game.

Rummel beats St Paul's 5-4 in game 2 to move on. St Paul's had the bases loaded in the 7th again. Rummel will face Lafayette or St Thomas More next.
