And I am not knocking the coach for how he scheduled. When your a successful program like Neville is, you schedule difficult to challenge your team.
It’s just sad that a few bad years will lead to this.

I wonder if it’s the same dude that flew a helicopter to Walker high for a game in the wood bat tournament around 2019. Landed at Westside JH and walked in through a gate he wasn’t supposed to. Teurlings was playing in that game.

It would have been great if the chopper hovered over the ballpark and dropped a rope for this lady and her setup to rappel down behind home plate

Saw both this year. AE should win this pretty easily, no?

I would think so.
I liked what I saw from Gros vs. ARCA.
Lonny Landry does an underrated job at Ascension Episcopal.

Gros has always been a gamer. Good to hear him playing well.

I called a game he pitched against Sacred Heart. Complete game, shutout, 2 hits in the first inning allowed, none the rest of the way. 6Ks, 1 BB.
His stuff wasn't dominant, but it was extremely effective. He located and changed speeds well. A "pitcher" v. a "thrower."

Crazy to see all these recruiting channels (PBR/PG) only really promote throwers.....then you look at their stats and they can't get out of the second inning.
Know a few committed to D1's and looked up stats and have more walks than K's and also have an ERA that is ugly.
At some point they need to change the focus.

there are more walks because umpires are better and batters are much better at knowing the zone. this is for all levels.
and at the mlb level, walks are down. at the sec level, only averaging 1 more walk per game
and the trade off is worth it. look at how BAA and RS goes way down as velo goes up.
the game is getting better at all levels, stop having an ego and yelling at clouds

More walks bc Umpires are better???Umps getting better at HS??? We have had guys who can't see over the catcher or is 80yrs old.
I guess your right everyone would rather take a kid throwing 95 that can't get out of the second inning than a kid throwing 90 giving his team 6 innings consistently.
I agree the game is better at all levels.....Ego? Just stating the facts.
Everyone is looking for a throwers and most of the throwers I've seen and looked up aren't good pitchers.
Hell know one D1 Commit that has thrown only 20 innings all season he can't make it out of the 2nd inning.

Great info. Along those lines, he got out of a jam vs. ARCA. They lost the game but I liked what I saw.
I saw someone on here pick ARCA to make the D2 select finals. They have two really good LHPs to throw back to back in Beau Cormier and Sebastian Rideaux - and Cole Schexnaider from the LLWS team (RHP).

A kid actually throwing 90 and consistently going 6 innings will get an opportunity somewhere.

Can confirm LJ dupuy has applied for the st michael job. Had interview yesterday. Also, javy sanchez has inquired.

Isn’t LJ Dupuy like 85 years old?

I like ARCA's lineup, too.
I think the first baseman hits maybe seventh in the lineup and is another good bat. They have a lot of them.
