Agreed. No penalties should’ve been handed out at all.

I don’t like what hill did but Elton sawyer said he would’ve done the same thing 30 years ago.

The shite between hill and SVG is over this weekend. I don’t expect Shane to give hill the time of day. Hill on the other hand… big frickin baby.

They’re using the soft excuse that he said something over the radio.

Plus it sounds like hill was feuding with his spotter or cc a little. They were telling him he was using too much brake in the corners. He basically said frick off.

Coincides with the accident.

Today will be interesting to see if any penalties get handed out. Hill has driven like an arse for a long time (and even got suspended), but Shane definitely overdrove entry knowing who was in front. Shane could’ve just been trying to fill that gap.

Either way I won’t be surprised either way. Whether there’s a penalty or not.

I do think they will both be told that this isn’t going to continue.

Update: no penalties.

What do y’all think nascar does with the zane smith/Hocevar & the SVG/hill incidents?

I’m betting all parties get a talking to, but nascar doesn’t do anything.

Chevy has a new body this year. Ford is getting one next year. My theory is that Toyota works more closely with its teams than the other two. Chevy wants Hendrick to be the lead dog. Ford doesn’t really care.

Toyota wants all of their teams at the top.

Heim is gonna whoop Jesse love in the rookie battle.

They asked Shane after the race if he will talk to Austin.

“I’ll talk to him, but he just grunts.”
Yep. This has been brewing for years between these two.
I’m not writing them off before the race. Just stating what nascar has already said.
Sounds like Chicagoland or Chicago street race is on the table for next year?

Where do yall stand? I’m all for getting road courses back to 6, but if they can get that number without going back to Chicago, I’m ok with it. I think there’s legit momentum to bring San Diego back for the 4th.

Buncha Facebook and Reddit losers are all up in arms that Chicago street is even a consideration. I thought the layout produced great racing. But San Diego was a much more challenging and racy layout.

All good. I’d love to see Dixon in a nascar race. Though a truck at nwb is certainly a choice.
Pretty sure that’s fake. Ryan Newman was announced for NWB
Those frickers just live to complain. I love trolling them lol.
Yeah. I get tradition. But sometimes tradition makes sense to not continue.

I’m not sure they’re catching up as it’s becoming more equipment related. Shane said his car sucked yesterday. And Briscoes car was visibly better.

Shane never got passed on track by anyone. In a bad car.

The Facebook mouth breathers are out in full force against road racing and SVG.

I’m laughing at all of those crybabies.
Daytona is never returning to the 4th. Don’t be shocked if Coronado becomes the 4th of July weekend.

I don’t like watching races where a guy who is a marginal driver on any other type of track wins almost every road course by large margins.

Was half a second too large today?

He ain’t wrong. Ty dillon needs to move from Kaulig and drive that car since the 51 gets built in the Childress shop.

Kaulig should put Berry in the 10. Dodge will be back next year. They could use a vet in AJ, and a serviceable guy in Berry to build data.

I don’t think we will ever know how bad that 97 car was at the end there. But good finish between Shane and Briscoe. Briscoe made him work.
Breath of fresh air. He’s unintentionally funny too.
