re: United 93 (2006) - Ending Scene - MikeHoncho47
This movie is ultra intense. To me the most fascinating part is that Ben Slimey actually played himself. And that 9/11 was his first day in his new role. Imagine that. Your first day as ATC chief, and you have to order every plane grounded........

It would be so much better if you’d kick fricking rocks. They’re one of the best bands out there right now. ...

re: Who Is Your Favorite Televangelist? - MikeHoncho47
[quote]I was at home one night, sitting in a beanbag chair naked, eating cheetos. And I had the TV on and I was watching Robert Tilton, this evengelist from Texas. And he said, "Are you lonely right now?" Yeah, I am. "Have you wasted your life drinking in bars and nightclubs?" Yep, sure have. "Are y...

re: This feels a lot like West Virginia in 2011 - MikeHoncho47
The game plan was to keep the ball in front. WV didn’t even try to run. They used screens as their run game. Our DBs sat in zone pretty much all night and just contained them. Either way I’ll take the mad scientist over the weasel. LSU 40 Texas 17...

re: Which Set of TV Characters Would You Most Want To Drink With - MikeHoncho47
Entourage is an obvious answer for me. If I could pick one character? Kenny Powers A crew? 62 Truck from Rescue Me. Those guys are a buncha ball breakers. Plus the constant trashing on Garrity and Siletti would be hysterical....

re: Lynyrd Skynyrd Opinions - MikeHoncho47
Might be unpopular. but I like the stuff they've done with Johnny. Wish they would've done like Thin Lizzy and renamed the band. Black Star Riders is basically the modern day Thin Lizzy....

re: Culturally segmented states - MikeHoncho47
Washington has a very interesting dynamic. East and South of the mountains, it might as well be a southern state. Lots of conservatives. West of the mountains, you get more of your liberals the closer you get to Seattle. ...

Why didn't Graceland catch on? - MikeHoncho47
Started binge watching Graceland two weeks ago. This is a great show. Love all the crime investigating and how quick the group may turn on one another. But I wonder why it didn't stick. Maybe USA Network being why? Anyone else see this show?...

Matt D needs to boot somebody out of a ride. Personally, I’d like to see Austin Dillon out of a ride but that’ll never happen. Put him in the 17 and see what happens. ...

re: What’s the farthest out of your way you’ve gone to mark something off a list - MikeHoncho47
Recently did a road trip up north then back south. One Tuesday I drove from Rapid City to Minneapolis to catch a Twins game. The route included driving through North Dakota. Will never visit that shitehole again. But hey, it’s now one of 37 states I’ve been to. ...

re: LSU Football on Sling - MikeHoncho47
I have PlayStation Vue. Watched every LSU game with no problem last year except LSU/Bama (I was on campus for that one). Make sure your internet speed is above 50 mbps. Works fine once it crosses that threshold. I’ve had virtually no complaints with Vue for a year and a half. ...
