ASH beat Pineville 16-1 last night. 21 hits. That is like 5 games worth the way we have been swinging it. Hopefully it continues.

Greg Briggs is a hell of a coach. Notice what he did at LO to get that rolling before Cassard

We defeated Hannan 3-1 at Suarez today… we’re now 13-8 with district starting next week… Northshore is favored to win it though

Whole lotta this.

Was it time for some new blood to come in? Probably so.

Chuck him out mid-season? Definitely not.

Worth mentioning he had 2 errors in LF that led to 3 unearned runs

But quite the 90+ arm Eli has in his back pocket come 2 outta 3 playoff time

His kids compete. And haven’t lost at home

Surprised they let him go with only a few weeks left. Should have made move last year but team caught fire and won district.

Zero player development. When your baseball program has more players than football, you have an issue and can't really work with players. Hard to manage.

Many private schools have ushered in a NO CUT policy in sports to prevent cutters from bolting.

Except at the pinnacle private schools

Barbe sweeps the series with Lafayette with the 4-2 saturday. (Lafayette is actually really good)

Sam Houston completes the sweep of Acadiana with 8-0

Sulphur beats carencro 7-0 to complete the sweep

St Louis lost to Teurlings Catholic 7-5 on friday

And to think "somebody" questioned me when I said that Barbe would be this dominant.

umm barbe is really good but no more talented than previous seasons other than possibly top end pitching but the rest of the state is not nearly as good. now their district is really really good. but there arent a lot of top end teams in the state.

Why did half of Jesuits baseball team say they're transfering to Rummel?

my son really enjoys playing for him. ASH has lost some really talented baseball guys to football. If we had those guys we would be in great shape to set up a nice run. If we would just hit to our potential we can make a little noise.

Heading to Loreauville at Catholic New Iberia in a bit.

Izaac Andre reminds me of 2025 JD Hidalgo.

They’re both tough guys

Dumb for the sports teams yes.

Mae’s sense from the school to keep tuition $’s..

I saw numerous freshman basketball teams this year that carried 14/15 players, with half having no business being on a high school court…. I’m convinced it’s 1. To get a $100-200 extra in fees to pocket, and 2. To have that many more kids fundraising.

A shame tbh

Calvary at WM at 6 tonight. Not sure who’s on the bump. Cupit pitched Friday so it won’t be him.
