fun games to be at for sure
yeah, Catholic league baseball season would be awesome as a high school player.

ASH beat Pineville 16-1 last night. 21 hits. That is like 5 games worth the way we have been swinging it. Hopefully it continues.

I can’t wait… no disrespect to Northshore, Slidell, and Fontainebleau, and I know we’ll lose a bunch, but we won’t lose them all. We’ll definitely be better than Warren Easton in baseball. Girls softball would compete right now

I've seen Lafayette, Acadiana, Teurlings Catholic, STM, Notre Dame & Lafayette Christian. Have Southside vs. New Iberia tomorrow. Thinking about Catholic NI vs. Loreauville on Monday.

Hearing Tookie at St. Michael is gone. Any truth to this.

Probably so, but even Karr has already made some progress in baseball so I'd think Easton also will. Neither will probably ever be at the top but they could end up putting up a fight in a few years like Aug does.

Easton is going to the JP district… they’ll win a few but probably not the district

I caught the Thurs Central vs PBHS game

Central won 2-1 despite Sorrel K’ing 14 only giving up 3 singles and 2 walks in 6 2/3

PBHS had 5 hits with the only XBH of the game, but managed to have 4 baserunners out on the bases. CS at 3rd and 3 pickoffs at 1st

His last start vs Rummel also a loss giving up only 3 hits w 12 Ks and 1 BB

They did move on from Tookie today.

St Michael beat Dunham 6-5 with a Grand Slam in the 7th. They are getting healthy. Curious to see if the coaching change makes a difference.

Nothing nefarious, unethical, or criminal. New admin really wants to see the entire athletic program improve enough to be self-sufficient. They were likely going to either require major changes from Tookie next year or bring someone new in. I guess too many little things piled up to force a decision mid-season. There’s enough potential on the team that a new coach would be able to build something really competitive pretty quickly.

Those are the only reasons you should ever make a midseason coaching change in high school though
