Haha. Because I have opinions on drivers he is 'living rent free in my head'?
What's the point in being an F1 fan if I don't get invested in drivers? If I don't have opinions on teams and become interested in favorites in rivals?
You can like Hamilton; that's your prerogative. I don't like him, so it's fun to shite talk him. I'm assuming you've never shite talked a driver?

WTF with these Alpha Tauri?
Yuki is stuck on the track during warmups.
This is a brand new power unit this week, and it's been nothing but problems.
Red Bull Powertrains not debuting very well. Let's see if the bulls can finish the race.

Man every race is going to be a cluster this year.
I like the new competitiveness but I sure hope majority of the results aren't dictated by who did or didn't have mechanical failure.

How could anyone not like Checo?

The race hasn't even started yet and we are down to 18.

8 more cars fall out and Williams may score a point...maybe...

Welcome to the 90s, 80s, 70s etc. Reliability was so bad prior to 1990 there was always a dropped score system where the worst scores (it varied how many) for a driver were not counted toward the championships.
Actually only losing 3 cars to mechanicals in the first race of a significantly big formula change was actually very good. It is just who and when 2 of them occurred.

K Mag has some sort of neck brace on.
Was wondering if there was something he could wear that may help a bit.
Not figuring on a great result due to the neck issue but certainly hope I am wrong.
In looking at lap times the part of the track he singled out as most problematic, 6 thru 10, was where he was losing by far the most time.

Anyone else try to listen to two feeds at once between the F1TV and Sky Feed?

Lando was lamenting that other guys had two sets of Hards available and he didn't. That indicates that a two-stopper is considered ideal, not a one-stopper like that graphic that was posted here indicates.

Haha fair enough. I just found your premise a little too absurd.

Past 5 years 8th place finish in the constructors standings
2021 Williams - 23
2020 Alfa - 8
2019 Alfa - 57
2018 Torro Rosso - 33
2017 Haas - 47
And with Alfa and Haas scoring points early this year, the 8th place money is so much more than 9th or 10th...it is going to be interesting
