Let's see how true this holds

Race day boys!
I actually don’t like the noon start, throws the flow of the day off. Give me the 7am or 3pm starts

Lol yeah Europeans think it’s terrible for us Americans to have to watch the race at 7 or 8 AM but I honestly prefer that way more than the races that start at 12 or three

Given that one driver reported in practice that the Mediums were shot after 14 laps, I'm surprised a one-stopper is considered the fastest strategy. However, if half the field does one pit stop and the other half does two, that will be fun. My real preference, however, is to run softer, faster tires and choose between two and three stops.

I'm thinking the middle strategy will be optimal if the tire deg is anything like it was last week.

Cautions and a red flag or two is going to blow these strategies.

Especially if I was in the mid-pack cars I would go medium medium and then go hard or soft depending on when that high percentage red flag in the last part of the race occurs. Drivers start to lose a little concentration 2/3 or 3/4 of the way into a race and like most street circuits a crash usually means a red flag. Also after Friday's very late night they are short on sleep compared to normal and stressed from the whole running a race in a missile target situation. I would be very surprised if anyone finishes the day on a one stopper.

I was wondering if Hamilton comes from the pit does he go softs to try and make up a couple positions before an early red.
Or come from the pits to avoid a potential first lap clusterfrick. Come out on mediums and advance 6-8 places over people coming in to repair wings and such.

This is what I was thinking.
I am expecting Max to try something from 4th to move up which could cause a chain reaction.

Anybody else thinking Hamilton doesn't finish the year?
Just don't see that ninny having the stones to piddle through an entire season of not even competing for podiums.
He'll probably make it through Monaco just to have one last chance at a year salvaging win, then once he comes in P7, he'll use the war as an excuse to sit out Azerbaijan, then he'll make a stand against those racist canadians by sitting out, then he'll just cancel the rest of his season for mental health cause his manager sees how well that PR stunt is working out for Simone.

The Tipo 066/7 power unit is basically all-new, using only the ERS energy recovery and battery system introduced at the Russian Grand Prix in September 2021, as explained by Mark Hughes:
I'm very confused if the engines were "frozen". I'm watching GP confidential and they are explaining many changes to the PU for RB, Ferrari, and Mercedes for 2022.

I found my mom's kitchen curtains from 1974.
I appreciate someone who marches to their own drummer but I will still laugh at them occasionally.

Why does he keep wearing a mask when almost all the other drivers have stopped?

He doesn’t have to worry about housing because he’s clearly living rent free in your head.

Because he is a raging ninny.

The Hamilton Derangment Syndrome (HDS) is strong with many folks here.

So that he can laugh at Leclerc or Max when they lose the WDC this year having to sit out a race due to COVID.

In fairness, he seemed to have a hard time getting over COVID and missing a GP could seriously impact his title hopes. If he had missed one last year like he did in 2020 he might not have even had a chance at Yas Marina.
I will personally give anyone a break when they have so much to lose with just a positive test. I am sitting here typing this snorting and hacking with COVID that I somehow was able to avoid for 2 years.
