Play of the year
The show opens with Tusk and closes with With or Without You. I can’t hear either song without thinking of The Americans.
Our favorite is the Swan due to its location (walk or boat to Epcot and Hollywood) and being Marriott. It’s a Disney partner so you still get the same perks of staying at a Disney hotel. Pop is a good budget option, we just found the rooms to be too cramped for us and didn’t love the food court.
You will hate yourself when purchasing the lightning lanes but when you get there you will be very glad you have them.
There is something great to enjoy at every park. If you want to go around the world at Epcot, get your kids a passport to get stamped. It gives them something to do while you enjoy the drinks. My personal favorites are Animal Kingdom and Hollywood.
Do a little research on food and dining options. There is a lot of very good food in Disney but there is also a lot of not so good. There are a lot of good Facebook reels that highlight Disney food.

6 episode series set in 1990’s England. Based on a true story about a group of customs agents going undercover to infiltrate heroin dealers.
Anyone watched yet? One of the better things I’ve found on Netflix lately.

If it’s a texture thing then you have nothing to worry about after a day in a crock pot.

Leclerc hit it in the race too
What case does Russell possibly have to plead?
I would be shocked if they didn’t finish this race. It’s Monaco.
Everyone but the podium about to be down a lap.
Was that legal?

George not being able to pass Hadjar is the perfect representation of what this race has become.

Well that sucks
I was really excited at the possibility of a VER-HAM front row for about 15 seconds.

Golden Steer if you can snag a reservation
Here’s a note I’ve had saved on my phone from our trip in 2024. We went for the Open. Spent a few days in Edinburgh then moved over to Glasgow. Kingsbarn is a beautiful course, highly recommend it.
Edinburgh restaurants
Old Town
-Arcade Haggis & Whiskey Bar (great pub food, whisky flights)
-Luckenbooths - inside Cheval Old Town chambers; we had Bfast here every day
-Worlds End Pub - had lunch here on Royal Mile (ok nothing special)
New Town
-Dishoom: Indian (great atmosphere, sat downstairs)
-Fishers In The City: seafood
-The Dome: drinks
-Bramble Bar (didn’t go here but travel agent recommended)
-Rose Street has a lot of pubs
Stockbridge
-Scran & Scallie: upscale pub food
-The Raeburn: we had drinks outside
To do:
-Edinburgh Castle- try to get morning tickets; less crowded
-Palace of Holyrood House - favorite
-Victoria Street (Diagon alley)
-Deans Village
-St Giles Cathedral
-Grassmarket in Old Town- lots of pubs and great view of castle at the end of the square
-day trip to Stirling Castle, Doune Castle - look into Explorer Pass if doing 2 or more castles
-Loch Lomand & Trossachs National Park
-day trip to St Andrews
-Deanston distillery warehouse experience - we did this after Stirling castle, in the area

It will be hard for me to associate new actors with some of those characters but it looks like it’s going to be really well done.
Turned on the replay and Apple gives the option of the full race or “race in 30”. Seems like a good option if you are in a time crunch or know it was a bad race.
