just a reminder that it fell 115 to 70 back in August
in 2.5 months it hit 135

now in fairness it was trading at about 50x earnings, which is clearly insane. FSLY now has to prove it with sales, which is where the rubber meets the road. If you are long, this is a blip. If you are swinging this truly sucks and i hope it works out

speculation by connected people is that the BS around tiktok (and forgive me I don’t know what this means either) forced some users who monetize their content off of tiktok and on to other platforms. This is the downside of a usage based model which is what fastly is.

they guided down 4MM in revenue for the quarter, that’s it. But that’s enough (the miss) for this penalty from the market. it’s up to them now to show some real market penetration that results in higher revenues

Haven't looked at anything today and now see I've been rewarded like this?! I have oodles of cash ready.

I am genuinely excited about this selloff, it was sorely needed. If you are long FSLY you should be celebrating.

If you are short term trading, these are the risks you take.

Sold my remaining shares of FSLY today (just lucky timing).

My only caution to everyone is to not get back in too quickly. Could be a failed rally in the immediate aftermath (but maybe can score a quick scalp opportunity).

The 50-day SMA (prior to October) and lower support point is in the mid-80s. Could have a little further down to go.

That's what I'm thinking too. Might see an early morning bump but I think it goes down further. FWIW, I know nothing about the markets, just a gut feeling.

Fighting the urge to jump in here. Never owned any, but obviously been watching from afar.

Both buying and selling, huh? The price sure isn't moving much any more.

I'm glad I held off on putting in any more money the last 3 weeks, although I did move some and sell a few Sasol and Sysco on Monday. Glad I did, Sasol continues to drop steadily.

Just off the top of my head:

1. Management and developers are best in the business. Unlike most tech growth companies that recklessly burn through cash for expansion the management team is very prudent about expenditures and cash burn. Best edge cloud developers in the business

2. Edge computing is just getting going. As long as people are using the internet for things like entertainment, shopping, streaming, etc, they are going to continue to grow. If you like growth, you should be interested

Yea, it was a terrible idea to sell it at 127 for 50% profit, knowing it was going to go down again like it always does, only to get back in a cheap prices.
