Cheating? Goodness this is going to get worse

I guess reciprocal tariffs is completely out the window now. Maybe Trump will clarify and back Navarro down

That sounds familiar.

Uh, the non-tariff cheating has always been part of it.

Yep this isn't about tariffs being charged by other countries, it is about the idiotic idea that we should have a trade surplus with every country in the world. Trump seems dead set on this, so I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for him to "clarify" and say anything differently.

That's not what Trump said. He's mentioned the other things all along. It's calculated into ours.

Why is it that other people understand it clearly then? It's because we actually listen to what is being said.

Trump as always addressed the many ways cheating is going on.

Why some of our people are ok with this is wild!

Which one of these guys do you have more confidence in...Musk or Navarro? Because they aren't on the same side.

Yes. Allowing China to circumvent tariffs is allowing cheating.

It's no different from Mexico allowing Latin American thugs to cross through their country and right into ours.

This is going to go down as one of the biggest mistakes in U.S. political history.
If this was a solid economic strategy it would have been implemented in a very orderly way that was easily digestible by the average American. The complete chaos is proof that what is happening is all jackass and no genius.

The average American know practically nothing about macroeconomics. The average American knows their immediate microeconomics quite well but they do not have informed perspectives on how economies work. It’s just talking points to think otherwise.

Have I missed something, or are you talking about that one poll the PT fawned over that covered a period before the tariff numbers were announced?

President Donald Trump is more popular now than before he sent the global markets into a frenzy by enacting sweeping new tariffs.

An exclusive DailyMail.com/J.L. Partners survey of over 1,000 registered voters conducted from March 31 to April 3 found that the Republican remains largely popular in the U.S.

The poll found that Trump's approval rating rose to 53 percent, a 4-point increase over last week when it was 49 percent.

Trump also saw a six-point increase in favorability among Democrats and independents, according to the survey.

The Republican's support among black voters skyrocketed 17 points since last week, the poll found.

And unless I'm misremembering, the tariffs were announced late afternoon on April 2nd. So 75% of the days in which people were polled were before the tariffs were announced, correct?
