It was tongue in cheek. Nobody understands me. I honestly teared up a little when Japan were celebrating their miraculous win. What an improbable title for them - they were outgunned in their last 3 matches and found a way to eek each one out.

I also want to point out what a huge dork Carlsoda is for A) having so little of a real life that he not only REMEMBERS a random message board post from over a year ago but that he also B) was able to apply it to an online personna whom he's never and will never meet.

I 'd

Sorry I have a good memory, dork or not it was fact. I don't know you IRL and you don't know me so we will both just judge from afar.

ETA: And I have to say normally I wouldn't have remembered at all but on my travels I have known an Alejandro IRL, he was worthless, didn't want to work for anything and would scam his own mother just to get what he wanted without working. I probably only hated him because his scamming worked. Long term I don't know but for the short term it did. Every time I see your name I think of him. So I apologize for calling you out FWIW.

Bump...

I think being a Saints ticket rep could pay huge money if you were smart.

Every time a pair of terrace tix come open I'd put them instantly on my girlfriend's credit card and scalp them for 200% profit. You could make 6 figures easily if enough seats came up.

Wow. And to think, people like LSURussian were legitimately going to try and help this guy. I'm not a perfect human being by any means, but playing the pity party and attempting to take advantage of others is something I can not fathom doing.

Now, it will force LSURussian to not even want to help someone in need in the future even if they are genuine and really need it.

Alejandro learned his lesson...
quote:

Just saw all this hell breaking loose - I'm really sad but I do understand obviously. I have learned a lot and been humbled a great deal in the past 7 months (despite what my online persona is), and this is just another something I'll have to overcome.

When I do get a new job I am definitely not going to take it for granted (although I insist that had nothing to do with why I was downsized - strictly geographical).

Russian is obviously a good guy and while I understand him being upset and what-not, I urge him to reconsider his vow to not help other people on the TD network out.

Lesson learned?

Lesson not learned!

Guy comes on here asking for help finding a new job, Russian offers to help.

After Russian sends out his resume to several people, OP is busted for trying to screw his last company and posting about it.

Alejandro apologizes and then admits to crying over a women's soccer game.

Is that scalping tickets?

That's only true if I don't know the person I'm trying to help.......such as posters on a message board who I've never met or know their background. Fool me twice, shame on ME.

and, i do not think the main issue is his scalping/ticket brokering. Honestly, that is his perogative and If he makes extra money like that then more power to him. I have no beef with that. They dislike him on saints talk for the silly baloney he spews forth...and of course here.....the MAIN reason......seeing what he pulled with his day job as we saw here before asking for help.

The main issue is that he is a moron. Read his posting history and this becomes clear soon enough.
