One of Warren Buffett's sayings is, "The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient."

You have chosen to be impatient.

Just play the vix. When vix is over 25 buy indexes, when vix goes under 13-14 sell and wait until it hits 25+ again.

I don't know if anyone else will remember but a poster here called the 2009 bottom within 24 hours of the actual irl bottom. I was in awe.

That same poster also spent the next couple of years mocking people who bought bitcoin at sub $1 prices. So you win some you lose some I guess.

after watching my BRKB for a long time, he is testing mine. It has held back my performance, but when the market has a shite day...it creeps up. When the market is hot, it is cold.

BRKB is in the past.
They finally bought a tech stock, AAPL, which has tried to stay away from AI Capex for as long as possible.

Finally, they wised up and invested in the recent GOOG funding round, but even still, that’s a pretty safe bet.

QQQ will continue to destroy BRKB in annual returns.

I had some BRK.B I purchased a little over a year ago, but after watching it do nothing but go down a bit after a whole year, I exited and deployed those funds elsewhere. It sure seems that it has had its day.

I don't think Berkshire has the same investment genius today as it had when Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger were in charge.

I know Buffett left some smart people in place there when he retired but Buffett was special.

Not perfect, but special.

They have been liquidating and going to cash for 3+ years now waiting for a big correction and ended up missing one of the biggest bulls of a lifetime.
