Adding hundreds at a time every chance I get below $3.50. Almost up to 10K shares.

This was the first and will probably be the last time that I invest in a technology that I don’t understand. But since we’re here and I’m riding this thing out for now…

Here’s Koch’s June2022 announcement of acquiring Lionex Tech to launch the Li-Pro process that Standard Lithium can now use.

My impression of the following quote from the link is that Koch’s Li-Pro tech can be used at different stages of DLE and the fact that SLI will be using it doesn’t necessarily mean that SLI’s LiSTR tech doesn’t work. I am less concerned of this being an either/or proposition between LiSTR and Li-Pro; maybe LiSTR works fine and Li-Pro just helps with efficiency.

“The innovative and patent-pending aspects of the Li-PRO solution will be synergistic with KSS’ world-class capabilities in ion exchange and sorptive technologies, membrane filtration, and thermal separations. This combination will deliver superior lithium recovery and purity, chemical consumption, water efficiency, and simplified system configurations, optimizing CAPEX and OPEX to lithium producers,” said Singh.

KSS will offer the Li-PRO process as a complete offering or as standalone separation processes, depending on customers’ unique needs. Their team will initially engage developers in a piloting phase to refine the process design of each step, and work collaboratively to implement small to large-scale operations at optimized performance specifications.”

Looks like things are about to get real. This much better PR than conferences. Still, I'd like to see more progress reporting to fill up the empty space since the old proofs of concepts from over two years ago.

Standard Lithium Signs Joint Development Agreement With Koch Technology Solutions

Performance Guarantees for High Levels of Commercial Lithium Extraction from Smackover Brines

EL DORADO, Ark., May 09, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Standard Lithium Ltd. (“Standard Lithium” or the “Company”) (TSXV: SLI) (NYSE American: SLI) (FRA: S5L), a leading near-commercial lithium company, is pleased to announce that it has signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with Koch Technology Solutions (KTS), an affiliate of Koch Engineered Solutions, to share data and jointly develop and commercialize integrated lithium brine processing flowsheets for Standard Lithium’s exclusive use in the Smackover Formation. The agreement will further enhance Standard Lithium’s position to build the first U.S. commercial lithium project in several decades and to begin to meet the surging demand for lithium.

Under the JDA, Standard Lithium and KTS will work together to integrate the proprietary KTS Li-Pro™ Lithium Selective Sorption (LSS) technology into a complete flowsheet solution, and Standard Lithium will have exclusive rights to deploy this technology at any of its projects in the Smackover Formation under a license agreement. KTS will also provide firm performance guarantees for the deployment and operation of the technology at high levels of commercial lithium extraction, allowing Standard Lithium to accelerate the development process cost-efficiently.

The OGs in this thread have dumped on us long time ago. They may still own some shares but they dumped a bunch

I’ve been in this thread for a while and own over 60K shares. I sold some and flipped some along the way, and bought a bunch more when it went sub $3.00 again. Frankly, there just hasn’t been a lot to post/get excited about since the big run up. But I do believe I’ll be making some money off this thing one day.

Would love to see it. At one time I owned 18k shares but I sold it all for a nice profit.

I’m still watching it and may buy again. We need rates to come down to create a better environment for speculation and they need to make some progress on their plans.

Was this a troll to get us to come out of hiding? I think we aren't as active because we know that this is a long play.

Have faith!

I have a while before I'm able to retire and I don't need the money I invested in this to be able to retire. Time is on my side at this point, this won't change when I retire, but could change what retirement looks like.

I am retired. Nothing has changed because of the benign index funds investments that I have maintained. At some point we will learn if we erred by repairing a chronologically leaking boat instead of taking our losses that the "experts" tell us to do.
We shall see, but I'm riding it out with several of you owning 12,000 shares in an old (Pre 401K) traditional IRA.

Thanks for sharing. Mintak:

I’m in the same boat. I just liquidated my shares in my 401k and then bought the same number in a regular investment account because I’m in for the long term potential. I wanted to convert gains from ordinary retirement income rates to capital gain rates. Cost me $200 in fees in my 401k but that seemed a small price to pay to start the clock for long term capital gain rates.
