Ok. I realize a lot of people these days have family plans with kids and such but what does a plan these days run for an individual? My family plan I have may be changing soon so I am curious to the cost difference. Thanks

Where are you located? If you are in a large metro you can get something like Sprint or Google Fi for like 40 a month, but I wouldn't trust those in all areas.

T-Mobile Veteran/Military plan with 6 lines and a monthly phone payment for $140 a month. Service isn't as good as it was with Sprint, but I was paying $400+ a month with Sprint. All in all service is pretty decent given the price.

We have ATT and with 3 iPhones, two iPads, direct Tv and WiFi it’s like $500 per month.
I feel like we are overpaying because that feels expensive.

AT&T with 4 lines is $211 / month in Baton Rouge area.
The cost is on the websites for all of the phone companies.

I do Verizon pre paid for 65 bucks unlimited everything. If you own your phone(s), prepaid is cheaper. Also with prepaid, I can cancel at any time and switch if the service sucks or I move. Att prepaid is cheaper but I’ve had better service with Verizon in Baton Rouge. I liked att more in New Orleans.

you should check into visible wireless. it's owned by verizon, and is $40/mo unlimited. they just removed their data speed cap. i will be trying it out soon to get back on the verizon network.

We switched from Verizon to Total Wireless just over a year ago. Would highly recommend anybody to do the same. For 2 lines we pay $60 month for unlimited data, talk, text. There is some limit of after 25gb of data (something like that) it slows down, but we’ve never hit that and we use our data quite a bit.

AT&T 6 lines and we're paying $315/month. This includes $100/mo in installment plans for unpaid phones. If you're paying over $300 for 3-4 lines, you should shop your plan with some of the new plans. I saved about $25/month with no change in service by switching everyone to the new plan.

I’m looking at the att unlimited elite plan for one line looks to be 85/month plus taxes and fees and includes hbomax which I already pay 15/month for. If I trade in my SE 2020 and get an iPhone 12 mini then the bill will be 100/month including all taxes and fees and then a 10/month discount from my employer so 90 bucks a month total

I pre-pay with Verizon for $35/month. It's not unlimited, but I never come close to going over the 6 gigs allowed. It's actually a $40 plan, but they knock $5 off each month because it's on auto-draft. Also, since it is through Verizon, it gets priority on their towers. I was with Straight Talk before...it also was riding on Verizon towers, but I would get kicked down to 3G sometimes...not anymore.
