You want more proof Ohio State is super bitter about losing #1?

Brody Miller:

quote:

Ohio State defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley speaks after Joe Brady at the Broyles Award ceremony:

"I'm a little shorter than 'boy wonder,' so I'll have to adjust that. They get the number one ranking and then he goes before me."

Maybe tongue in cheek and I didn't see if he was laughing about it, but damn

Not that the committee would never come out and say it, but I really really wish they came out and just said we put LSU #1 because they didn't beg for it.

Would be epic

I think they are gonna get destroyed by Clemson. Their attitude seems like they believe they should have been crowned as the National Champion after this past weekend.

I think you nailed it.
They are terrified of Clemson.
Absolutely love Os attitude. It’s a very aggressive attitude.

If you listen to Chase Young tell why they deserve it he mentions the team dealing with adversity. I wanted to roll my eyes but didn't know if they faced any adversity or not.

What adversity did OSU deal with exactly?

Was it being told they couldn't trademark the word "The" like they wanted to?

What is so insufferable about that... Don't you like a little ribbing and sarcastic humour at times...I do. Makes life a little more pleasurable and I'm absolutely sure there was no pun intended. Why do you all try so hard to disgrace people for any reason... I know... it's human nature, not all, but a lot.

I suppose it had to do with a QB wearing a heavy knee brace and them being down 21-7 at half.

That was a prick move—I am positive Joe will now take extra pleasure in guttin that boy (if OSU gets to us).

Now they have 5 people lobbying that they (individually) are number 1. Three players and two coaches - come on already.

So adversity of their own doing? Is that.. is that what they are saying they “overcame”?

It was tongue in cheek. Brady was introduced at the banquet as the boy wonder.

Joe Brady is announced as the “boy wonder” at the Broyles Award. #LSU

It's because they don't know what the word means. Adversity to them is falling behind in a game and coming back to win at the end. Forget the fact that's self inflicted "adversity"

They are more embarrassed about Burrows success and they passed over him and he is now overshadowing them.

That is OSU’s real issue and why they wanted 1 so bad and why they pushed so many undeserving kids for the Heisman. They are embarrassed about Joes success and want to overshadow it at any cost to save face to their own fan base.

destroyed? It is hard to say that based on who Clemson has played this year. I think it is more likely a close game, and i would rather OSU win just the have Joe beat them in the Natty. Picture perfect end to the season.
