Baw, you dumb.

Yes you can blame them.
1. They didn't call it right away
2. They clearly weren't certain so you can't come back and make a call bc you "think" he obstructed
If you aren't sure then the original call stands

If home plate ump had signaled it immediately, fine. You cant decide in your mind to call a balk during the commercial break on a judgement call made my millimeters
None of the other umps mattered why was it a 4 person conversation?
frick em

Yes we can. Catcher was not on or in front of the plate. BS judgement call by the refs.
Posted on 5/25/24 at 4:49 pm to stephendomalley
Sure I can. The umps were shite all game and should get fricked.

Shut up you stupid frick

it looked like he missed the call but it was very close and fast and unexpected.
none of them saw him step on the plate and he wasn’t in front of it.
so why make the call?

This. They didn’t just miss the call. They didn’t call it. Then they talked about it for 10 minutes. THEN they missed the fricking call.

Dumb…. It wasn’t a bang bang call. They all got together and made a call that none of them actually saw. That alone should bring them under review.

I’ll score this troll a solid 6/10

They stopped the game and reversed a huge play. Yes, it was their fault so they are to blame
Posted on 5/25/24 at 4:51 pm to stephendomalley
You are incorrect. The call was blown.

Problem you have with the call is it's not reviewable, the homeplate ump made a call and without the ability to review they made an assumption and changed the call. Then awarded a run a the player never touched the plate, then abandoned the field, so his run can't count.

No call was missed . The guy was out . It was a $$$ squeeze with the refs !!
Posted on 5/25/24 at 4:55 pm to beauchristopher
Appears to be way overthought

I dont think they saw it in real time, I think someone "informed" them.
Classic botched call, putting the umps in charge of the outcome.
And we still overcame
