First timer here too for a Nov marsh hunt. Looks like the best options for a reasonably priced place to stay are hotels in either Crowley or Abbeville or Airbnb’s in Lake Arthur. Nothing came up in Gueydan

The Houma Civic Center on Barrow St. rents RV spaces with hook ups in one of their parking lots. Also close to the parade route as the parades end at Town Hall further up Barrow St.

We made the run out to the lease in Dularge yesterday morning. Pleasantly surprised to see a few grays and even some poule d’eau had shown up with a couple teal still hanging around. Counting down the days!!

Eh could be wrong, but I don’t think so. Bayou Dularge floodgate by Jug’s was reading around -2.0ft on the outside during the storm and the water didn’t really get above normal levels once it passed through.

As for the marsh, can’t speak for areas between Sister Lake and Dulac. I’d imagine it’s pretty tore up. But the marshes on the western end of the parish around Lost Lake and Four League Bay look pretty good, all things considered.
