it looked like he missed the call but it was very close and fast and unexpected. what's inexcusable is the rule that the umps can't look at the replay to get it right because it's in the rule book that way.

wasn't south carolina's fault. they played another great game and just can't get over the hump vs lsu.

bullshite. Why would an up even call that in the situation? Thats taking over the game.

Only if its blatant, this was not even a violation.

It would have been different had they realized it when it happened, stopped the game, and made the call.

It’s almost like they were buzzed down to change the call. Everyone was already in the dugout ready to start the next half inning

frick that- If you can’t say unequivocally he stepped all over the plate - you don’t make that call.
You don’t rule on what you think you saw

Look. In that situation you make the call right away or you deal with the fact you missed it. You don’t run people off the field and overturn a judgment call.

they never had to call that. ever.

it wasn't a close play. and he didn't touch the plate or got in front of it.

nobody would have thought anything of it.

Then you don’t get together and overturn the call made in the moment.

If home plate ump had signaled it immediately, fine. You can’t decide in your mind to call a balk during the commercial break on a judgement call made my millimeters

None of the other umps mattered why was it a 4 person conversation?

frick em
