Instead of LSU and the tiger it needs to just have the tiger eye on the side of the helmet. Would look better

I like the geaux font on the helmet, the number font, and the fact that the jersey purple matches the helmet purple.
Other than that, not a fan. Black isn't one of our colors, and shouldn't be used at all.
White is different, because the NCAA mandates that one team wear a predominantly white jersey.

I haven't been impressed when alternate uniforms have been proposed or implemented in the past, but OP's black uniform picture looks badass to me.

Our change ups need to be with the gold jerseys, white pants, and white or old gold helmets.
