It was a good game with a lot of entertainment and grit in the comebackl performance.

You mean losing a close game on the road to a top 10 team with a talented quarterback equivalent to Moses in college football years isn’t the end of things?

But seriously it depends on how we respond.

The game last night was similar to many in the Les Miles era where flaws were shown, they became apparent, positigers ignored them, and then the flaws directly led to a loss.

The reality that we're not that good is just being accepted by many, because we're not. Those flaws aren't going away and many don't seem fixable

SFP, are you saying unless we are perfect 15-0 every year, its unsatisfying and worth complaining about?

This I disagree with strongly. I was entertained.

Is LSU perfect? No. Are they fun to watch and still deserving of support? Yes!

Sir, this is TigerDroppings.

There is no appropriate measurement for the melt after a loss to Ole Miss.

I said LSU had to weather that early emotionally driven onslaught to win the game. They didn’t.

Chambliss threw for 248 yards in the first half and Leavitt played the entire first half, until the final drive, horribly. Baker and Kiffin came up with a gameplan that was really soft because they were afraid of Chambliss.

Once they settled in it was too little too late, but they did claw back and have a shot to win it.

It’s a long season and teams take time to Gel. Some of the fans were unrealistic. Even with a great coaching staff it’s going to take time for Lane to figure out which buttons to push. Leavitt is very green and could legit take two years. He is very talented let’s see what Lane does with him over time. It seem like he’s playing too fast and l needs to settle in a bit more. The kid has a full season of eligibility left after this one.

This team has some great players but no one was seriously expecting a national championship this year. We knew we were not that good. Lane scrambled to put together the best team he could. Had Chambliss come to LSU, which I believe he should have we might be talking about much better team. As is neither team, LSU nor ole Miss, is now suited to do that. But Lane tried and has put together a far better team than we would have had with BK. The trajectory of the program has moved in the right direction with some tremendous nil pickups. We got beat by a very good 6th year qb and a great and physical rb for ole miss. Once Chambliss is gone ole Miss will return to a lower tier of the SEC again.

We’re not that good because we lost to the probably Heisman trophy winner on the road by 1 score? Get bent dumbass.

Are you under the impression that "good" teams don't have any flaws?

They do. They are just even better in other areas to make up for them.

Define not that good.

A top 5 team? No. Anybody that thought we would be was only kidding themselves.

A top 15 team with a chance to make the playoffs?
LSU is definitely that. It just depends on how much better they get throughout the season.

Even in the NIL/portal era, teams aren't built in one offseason.

Look at the current rankings in college football.

LSU is in the top half and should be.

Nah. Ole Miss let us back in the game with two bad drives.

We don’t have a playoff team—again—and it was made glaringly obvious last night. Easily two or three more losses left.

I’d take being competitive relative to the CFP, which is now approaching the 7th consecutive season of not happening.

I think we have a legitimate shot at 10-2. A month ago I thought 8-4 or 9-3. A very flawed team with a LOT of promise. The comeback is being slept on- that was legit impressive and would not have happened on any BK team. So flawed but promising.

Bring on Aggie.

Thank you.

The better QB won that game.

The better team won last night. LSU may end up being better 10 weeks from now but as of week 3 Ole Miss is the more complete and put together team.

This LSU team is not a national championship caliber team yet. And people bought the fools gold off that inflated Clemson win.

LSU invested in this years roster to start the rebuild. To show the fan base and future recruits that we’re serious and going to build a national championship program again. If we were to somehow win a championship this season, that’s honestly an accident and you can downvote me all you want, but it’s true.

We showed a lot of positives last night. We battled back. We were legitimately a couple plays away from winning that game. 2 that stand out. The missed tackle on that 4th down on their last drive. We make that play and we go down and probably win it.

If Sam hits Grace on 3rd and goal at the end, it’s a 2 point game with a chance to tie.

And enough can’t be said about the Pat Mahomes flip pass. Chambliss is a 26 year old NFL QB playing in college. He’s going to beat a LOT of teams this year. He IS Ole Miss. And once he’s gone, Pete and Ole Miss will become a back burner program.

Because teams with this many new players and staff have never developed or improved in season….

This board should shut down for the week following a loss. Fans just can’t handle it with class.
