Little Rock winning the USM regional is probably a bigger upset than Troy winning the UF regional.

The Sun Belt is arguably a "major conference" in baseball. It had the 4th most teams in the tournament...only 1 less than the Big 12.

People forget that Stony Brook did not just sneak up and surprise us. They took down Miami in Coral Gables in the regional. That Miami program ain’t so proud of that either although is losing alleviated their PTSD. Now Troy beat Miami AND Florida twice. Crazytown man.

Stony Brook was a 4 seed from a one-bid conference. Troy is a 3 seed from one of the top 4 conferences in the sport (only the SEC, ACC, and Big 12 got more teams into the Tournament than the SBC).

TROY is mostly famous for football. Really surprised to see them in a superregional, against another upstart midmajor-- UALR.
