the program was literally tanked after 2019, for many different reasons. There is nothing to praise Orgeron over after that year.

I mean it’s possible that we have to replace our top 4 receiving threats. I’m just not sure how you automatically assume the offensive line will be better, much less dominant, by replacing 4 starters, two of them being 1st round picks.

It doesn't latter if Nuss goes pro. Underwood will be playing a lot. Generational talent

Please enlighten me to why you think our running game will be anything close to dominant next year. I agree that the defense should be better just because they have a year under their belt in Baker’s system. But what on earth would tell you that our offensive line will be better?
Yall, LSU did not have a problem running the ball Daniels's first year here. We had a brand new OL with two true freshman tackles, a redshirt sophomore guard that came from FIU, a center starting for the first time at LSU, and another redshirt sophomore guard getting his first start at LSU. All the RBs had several good games, then you had Daniels being consistent rushing every game. Underwood is averaging 17 yards a carry in his senior year and is 6'4 215. LSU has Durham, Jackson, and will bring in 4.3 speedster 5 star Berry, and another stud runner in JT Lindsey (#12 RB). The read option is going to be scary.

P.S. Our RBs were not great in 2022. Go look at the RBs rushing numbers against Bama, Florida. A&M, FSU, ie any decent rushing defense. They weren’t good. Daniels overinflated our rushing numbers from that year.

If Nuss comes back with numerous new OL playing he better learn to use his legs and feet a shite ton better than what he has exhibited season to date.
He will. I feel pretty confident that Kelly has told him not to run because of who our backups are. When Underwood is here that won't be a problem

This exact same bitching and complaining happened in Burrow and Daniels first season.
So, no
So, no

Yep, someone always leaves. OM won today by what... 30+ and I don't think Walker Howard even got in the game.

LSU fans always want the backup QB and a new HC

I've seen some 30 IQ takes on TD, but this might be dipping into single digit IQ takes.

Hurley Can sling it i dont Want us to lose that Kid Underwood Is a generational talent he already better then Nuss yall have to much faith in Nuss the int King yea he can sling it but his Football IQ goes out the window almost every Game he do something stupid he scared to run when the field be wide open stop comparing him to Burrow and Daniels he is not Them Period.

People thought this would be a playoff team (lol) but next year should be better than this years team if Nuss returns. Especially if their is some continuity on the coaching staff
_____________
Hard to say until we know more about out Oline next year with Chester being the only starter coming back.

I want Nuss back. Would like to see Underwood getting some pt, though. No need to use a redshirt on him. He will be in the NFL in his 4th year.

No way in hell he waits that long.

1. I love how you wrote the word period but used zero punctuation at all. Seriously, that’s embarrassing. Do better.
2. No one is comparing Nuss to Burrow and Daniels.

Nuss needs another year. Just look at Burrow and Daniels dramatic improvement year 2.
Posted on 11/3/24 at 10:07 am to Saunson69
I keep receipts. See you in a few years.
Posted on 11/3/24 at 11:47 am to StatMaster
Yes! Nuss coming back next year helps us for next year only. Underwood starts and we contend for Nattys in 26 & 27.
