I am against all realignment and post season modifications until more effort is put into fixing regular season scheduling inequalities

I don' wanna play Bama nor A&M more than once in a blue moon. Put Bama with Oklahoma, Texas, A&M and Arky. It's a better fit

So basically LSU, Ole Miss, and MSU joins the old Southwest Conference. Who cares anymore. Throw all the traditions out the window.

Nine game schedule. 7 & 2.
Division games 3 & 3 + 1 neutral site, or home & home.
Cross division is 1 + 1.
Opponents change each season. You play every cross division opponent once every four years. You play a home and home with each every eight years.
Obviously, this requires some tweeks to ensure parity in scheduling, but...

Makes an immense amount of sense. And potentially increases the number of SEC teams in the CFP

To play every school often, I’m in favor of either the SEC retaining its eight-game model, which would necessitate a 1+7 format (e.g., one permanent rival and seven rotating opponents) or a 3+6 model in which teams play have three fixed rivals and six teams on a rotating basis.

We sacrificed one of our oldest rivals, Mississippi State, for an SEC-created fake rival in Arkansas.

Someone is geographically challenged.

As an LSU fan, sure.

Dang. That’s fricking brutal.

Against. I don’t want to be relegated to the neo-Big 12

South: Texas, Texas A&M, LSU, MSU, Ole Miss, Auburn, Alabama, Florida
North: Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, Georgia.

I am for divisions. The qualifier for the championship game should be objectively based with teams playing balanced schedules.
I am not sure that the split as
You have it is the exact way I’d want to do it. But I’d rather have them than not.

I would be ok with it but there is really no reason to go to a nine game conference schedule.
This won't matter though because Conference Championship games will soon disappear anyway. NO good reason to play them.

Strongly against. It destroys our historical rivalries. These newcomers need to blend in with our traditions not the other way around.
For that matter, create a newcomer division and make them play among themselves, rotating into the traditional SEC.
I think four divisions will be eventual outcome.

Noticed that as well. That would basically offload us, State, and OM out of the "SEC."
Technically, OU and Mizzou weren't SWC schools, They were Big 8.

As an LSU fan, I wouldn't like losing all the traditional SEC schools. It looks more like LSU, Ole Miss and Miss State had to join the SWC/Big XII to me and that just feels demeaning.

Why’d you kick UGA out of the conference?
