You keep repeating this shite without acknowledging the fact that 2 contributors to this team were lost early in the season.

Kim in her second year, won a national championship. In her third year, short two starters, lost to the best, most talented team in the nation. Then retards imply she can't coach.
Damn, stupid?

Well to be fair the losses to Auburn and Miss St are pretty bad…..if we had 2 losses right now with 1 in conf play I suspect people would have a much better outlook.

And Miss. St. was on fire at home. None of these losses were blow outs, this team will go far in the NCAA's, maybe not a championship but I believe they will get to the quarterfinals if their bracket isn't loaded.

Agree. The commentators shared that the team watched the LSU-SC game together at the coaches house. They had their first sold out crowd in a while. They were pumped up. Give them credit for playing their best against us.

LSU fans are the delusional ones. We literally just won a national title for the first time ever and you're already complaining. Get a damn grip and just enjoy that we have a ranked basketball team.

I will be very curious to see how State does on the road at Kentucky tonight. Kentucky is awful, but let's see how State fares after their huge win over us.

When Auburn beat us a couple weeks ago, they lost their next game at Vandy 53-50 and played like shite.

I wonder what’s going on with Poa. She played significant minutes during the title run. But Kim seems to have lost confidence in her. Played four min v sc. that just doesn’t make sense. She was never an elite ball handler. I don’t know why we are asking her to be one.

She hasn’t recruited anyone but Williams. Thats why we have no depth

We signed the #1 recruiting class but haven't really used it tbh. She recruited Rosario (Top 10 recruit who was offered and recruited by South Carolina), Angelica Velez was a top 50 recruit, Janae Kent a top 75 recruit.

Some of the freshmen are raw and green, they are going to make mistakes like freshmen, but its not like anyone minus potentially rosario got the reps to actually develop and get better. Look at Rosario when she first started and where she is now. Imagine if Kent or Velez got some quality reps, they could potentially develop and maybe contribute something in SEC play at least enough to give your starters a breather

The team is likely to get to the Sweet 16 and then face 50/50 type games til the final 4.

Womens basketball is still very top heavy. A lot of those games are cakewalks.

If you followed the team you would remember:
1. Angel Reese was MIA at the beginning
2. HVL missed almost a month of games prior to SEC play due to injury.
3. Smith lost early to season ending injury
4. Poole removed from the team

The starting 5 have only played 8 games together as a unit. 8 games!! The more games they play the better they will get.

In Kim's 40 YEARS of coaching, does anyone think that this is the first time she has gone through this??

She will have us peaking at the right time for the NCAA tournament. Not the SEC tourney - The NCAA tournament. Will we be in the Final 4?
Maybe, maybe not. But we will be a contender because we will have the best in the business as head coach.

Guys, the simple reason the women struggle is that they are overall out of shape/too heavy/fat.
Simply look at our girls and compare to S Carolina, especially the guards and forwards. Sure there are outliers, but overall, we just don't add up.

And that is the basis for late game falloff of efficiency.

I’m just trying to understand how she could be so devoid of talent after winning a Natty.

For one thing, the Natty last year was a little flukish. LSU was not the best team that year, so the fall isn’t as far as it might seem.

Again This was not a statement on coaching. But you cannot win on a tournament setting with 6 players unless that are all premier players. And HVL is not a premier PG. She is too slow and doesn’t handle pressure well especially when she doesn’t really have a quality backup to give her rest. In a tournament setting with multiple games in a few days it will be an issue. She’d be better off getting some of the younger players experience and let them make those mistakes early.

They are an elite 8 team at best. That title got into the players head.

I thought I was going to upvote this post because I agree with the sentiment. Your random usage of a period and fragmented thoughts prevents me from doing so. Be coherent or dont post.

And should have lost--were down 6 with about 1 minute left in regulation but hit 2 3's to tie.
