You cannot win in a tournament setting without a bench and a true PG. No amount of coaching will change that.

Anyone questioning Kim Mulkey’s coaching is clueless. She is a hall of fame coach. The loss of Poole and Smith can’t be overstated. Still trusting CKM will figure it out down the stretch.

“Ma” “meatloaf”. These folks are idiots…Mulkey knows what the heck she is doing. Will we win a ship every year? No. But more times than not we will be right there and have a shot. Before she got here we wouldn’t even have threads about WBB. Just enjoy the ride…it’s not perfect but will be fun

Hilarious to see the same posters who littered every. thread with “nobody cares” about women’s basketball suddenly experts on the women’s game and coaching.

I posted, just this morning, how quickly the Ranters would turn on her as soon as we lost a couple of games.

You aren’t going to go undefeated in basketball…as long as we make the tournament, the season begins there. Regular season is basically practice for the tournament.

My opinion you lost 2 players that would have contributed to this years team and that is hurting the team when you consider bench play. The team look's gassed perhaps you need to find another player on the bench other than Poa that could spell some minutes down the stretch. At this point you need some other players or this team will get bounced first round.

This isn’t a statement about whether KM is a good coach. It’s a statement about the state of the team. There is nothing to figure out. You have no bench and a sub par PG. That is a fact and even a HOF coach can’t overcome that. You don’t need to be an expert to see that. They are already showing signs of wear and tear. That will be multiplied in a tournament setting where you play multiple times in a few days.

Secret playbook: Mulkey pigtails it up ala 1982 and starts in Van Lith's place in the tournament. Strategerie, son.

Clearly KM got lazy in the offseason and decided to have emergency heart surgery instead of hitting the recruiting trail hard.

have you ever seen any team anywhere shoot this bad. They can't make anything from any distance and most of the shots are not even close. Laughable

It appeared the teams switched Jerseys.

LSU looked slow and confused.
The Bulldogs hit about every shot they threw up.
I expect we will play and shoot better next game.
No one on the team played close to their potential or equaled past performance.

Other team last night outscored LSU by 18 points from 3 point land. LSU won their national championship by lighting it up from 3 point area. It's always been same formula for success in basketball: put the ball in the hoop!!!!

I like Jada and have gotten to see her many times in person but anyone who has watched her play and knows the landscape of WBB (talent gap), Jada is not gonna play her first 2-3 years.

If you want a true freshmen to give significant and meaningful impact minutes, thats mostly going to come from those top 50 recruits. LSU missed on all their top targets outside of Strong who is still undecided. They will have to hit the portal super hard

And your GOAT power forward playing at the top of the key because she’s double teamed.

We can make it work, we just have to adjust to our strengths.

They are 18-4 with a neutral site loss to the (current) #6 team in the nation. Two road losses (by a combined 9 points) in conf. play, and a close home loss to the #1 team in the country.

YET, the same OP who is criticizing the HOF WBB coach with effusively praise the MBB coach for moral victories as he continues to march on with a career SEC record of 6-20.

One coach, even with the last two losses, will have her team in the NCAAT with a chance to compete for the title....on the heels of a National Championship. The other is fighting for a spot outside of dead last in the SEC that if he gets it (and it looks like he might) the OP and his ilk will throw a parade.
